Got him!! The India-Basher, Sanath Jayasuriya, gave a soft dismissal as he gave Yadav a simple catch. Sri Lankhave lost their first wicket 4 balls into the match with only 2 runs on the board. Pathan scalps his first, What a match he's having! Jayawardane is the new man in.

Chasing 369 and being 2/1, SL supportors thought, " Could things get any worse?" Let me answer that for you, Yes. Sreesanth, who is making his debut here today, scalped his maiden ODI wicket in his very first over! After Jayawardane smashed him for a boundary and a 2, Santh got his revenge by a perfectly placed in-swinging yorker, that dislodged the bails in a flash. It should have been played on the front-foot but Mahela thought otherwise, and paid for it with his wicket. SL are 9/2. Russel Arnold walks in.

Sri Lanka sink deeper! 50/3

The Sri Lankan Lions sink deeper as their skipper is gone bowled off Irfan Pathan. it was a yorker, similar to the one bowled by Santh. Attapatu, who was looking to be aggresive and smashed 4 fours in a row off Sreesanth the previous over, looked to smashing again, but was clean bowled. The inswinging delivery left the captain crouched for room, and went on to peg back the middle stump. Samarweera is the new man.

54/4 Pathan picks up 3 as Sri Lanka loose Samarweera

Thilan Samarweera, who opened his account with a beautiful 4 square cut, was greeted by a sharp bouncer and was out trying to pull Pathan the very next delivery. he got the top edge, and Mr. Safe Hands, Rahul Dravid, made no mistake and took the easy catch. Sri Lanka are 54/4 and the new man is the allrounder Dilhara Lokuhittigge. They are going to need something special, just to come near the tremendous target.

RV: Thanks Sanjay. Well, my money is with India right now.
RR: Definatley. 70/4 with not many batsman left. It was over for before the innings even started.
RV: Well the innings might have been close if Jayasuria had stayed on, soft dismissal!
RR: Yeah, i haven't seen Jayasuriya give his wicket away like that. Gone for a duck! Since then the Indians have really capitalized on the pressure.
RV: Next to go, Jayawardene. Foolish shot.
RR:couldn't have said it better. Nerves got the best of him.
RV: After that, the skipper, Marven Attapatu. He looked good.
RR: Yes Very attacking cricket was deployed by the captain. But, losing partners at the other end, he too was dismissed by a Pathan delivery.
RV: Samarweera? What kind of hook was that?
RR: Well he didn't set his feet properly, and was too early on the shot. He paid for it with his wicket.
RV: Is Pathan having a match or what!?
RR: Excellent bowling with 3-25 and also a brilliant knock of 103....He's a great allrounder.
RV: How do you rate Dravid's captancy?
RR: He's a great captain! Best indian captain i've seen!
RV: Well, that wraps up the Pepsi-Cola drinks break match analyses, back to you Sanjay.

Yadav Strikes! Sri Lanka 75/5!

JP Yadav struck right after drinks with the wicket of Russel Arnold. He was looking dangerous, but a straight one from Yadav collided into Arnold's pad leaving him Plum infront, and the Umpire Clarifies. Sangakkara is the new man.

The game is practically over for Sri Lanka as they are reeling at 103/6. Dilhara Lokuhittige, who was looking to smash the bowlers all over the park, was surprised to see a Harbajan delivery stay low and spin a mile! It clattered into his stumps, and India get another wicket.Vass comes in this precarious position.

Harbajan Strikes again, Sangakarra walks back.

Habajan Singh got his secind wicket, that of the dangerous Kumar Sangakkara, when he tried to sweep it, got the top edge, and a brilliant jumping catch by MS Dhoni sent him back to the pavillion, along with any drop of hope for the Sri Lankans. He hit 20 runs. They are stuttering at 119/7 on this batting track. The tail is exposed, and vass is still at the creace. Mularitharan walks in.

Another wicket down, Sri Lanka see the light at 125/8

Harbhajan Singh picked up his third wicket in the same fashion as the previous wicket, Chaminda Vass looking too pull the ball, Was late and was surprised to see a quick top spinner, top-edged it and Dhoni takes another catch, this time easier. at 125/8, the rq runrate is over 11, things are almost over for Sri Lanka.
