Your Cricket Which Style of cricket have you learnt? The Australian or The English

The English style is collapse from 114-0 to 124 all out and then get Monty to save the day.

i learned pakistani style
drop a catch
try to hit a six
and hurt the batsmen

You can't hurt the batsman so easily. He's fully protected when He's on the field.

And you know Hitting sixes continously will never make a you a gr8 player,Don't try to be Afridi try to be Ponting......

And as a bowler never be like Akthar that you hurt a batsman pourposely that shows cheap cricket do it only when the batsman abuses you on the field. If the batsman abuses you seriously, get him out.Try be a bowler like Mc Grath

ONE TIP WHEN YOU're fielding when a new batsman comes from the pavilion till he reaches the ground stand in a huddle with your team and continously stare at him and after that start cheering like mad........Batsman would be pressurized and if the other team does the same when you're coming for batting just ignore them and if any abuses just go there settle hit a boundary and tap the bat near the bowler

yeah well, wat i do is that if i almost bowled or lbwed the person, i stare at him, and try make contact with him to tell him i mean business

and for fielding
im actually one of the best fielders on the team thanks to god
im more of a bowler, so when i come to bat they put me opener or lower order because i tend to smack alot (even on yorkers!!)

For those who dont know Indian style of cricket means read and learn

1) Playing for low bounce
2) Score most predominantly on leg side
3) Bowl more full length deliveries
4) Dont run hard between wickets
5) Play spin like spinners dont even exist in cricket
6) Have very low center of bat (if you have good bats you will know otherwise get one)
7) Not sweep much but use feet to play spin
8) Strong on cut and drives and weak on pull and hook
9) Swing old bowl more than new one :)

well not usally i mean someplayers are weak in pulling but indian style is pretty good compare to england

I said strong in cut but weak in pull

er, It's Cricket! It's more English than scones and tea.

Haha, too true!

My type of cricket is a bit of everything really. I'm not a fan of the old sweep, i'd much rather let it come onto me and clip it away. So in that sense a bit Indian!

Mentally, i'd say i'm mixed. I have rugged determination which means if we need 30 off the last over, theres going to either be an airstrike on the spectators or the WK will need extensive surgery for the stump in his eye. But i understand good values and don't have that "win at all costs, leave no stone unturned," attitude.

My playing style is a bit mixed as well, ill be aggressive when needed, or when mood strikes. But i can keep myself in and carry my bat.

My style of cricket:

--batting--
1. Walk (not charge) down the pitch if it is a pace bowler.
2. Charge if it is a spinner.
3. Clear the front leg and hit it over extra cover/mid off.
4. Instead of pulling/hooking a bouncer play it over the keeper/slips.
5. Hit most of the balls straight.

--bowling--
1. Never pitch it full (except if it is a yorker).
2. Bowl cutters mostly. [If bowling medium pace]
3. Use the bouncer regularly. [If bowling medium pace]
4. Toss the ball up. [If bowling wrist spin]
4. Don't mind going for runs, but pick wickets.
