Best Young Bowler- Please post your ideas

For the era after this one, Pradeep Sangwan, the boy only turned 17 like months ago, and he's already a success at FC level.

I don't really think Anderson can reallybe classed as strictly young anymore. He's nigh on 26.

Stuart Broad for me. He has amazing potential and he's English and as we all know, we English are the best at everything.

Steyn easily, hes already up there with the best bowlers in the world.
Tanvir, Gul and Asif if he sorts his off field stuff are decent.
Siddle one to watch for when he can get his test debut.

New Zealand-Tim Southee(Under 19 player of the tournement, five wickets on test debut)

India-Piyush Chawla, and Ishant Sharma

England-Stuart Broad

South Africa-Dale Steyn, but that's easy what about Morne Morkel?

Sri Lanka-Anjanta Mendis-First Class Bowling average of 14, took 3 wickets on debut.

Australia-Shaun Tait

West Indies-My Favourite bowler Jerome Taylor

Bangladesh-Masrafe Mortazza, and Abdur Razzak

Pakistan-Sohail Tanvir

The best young bowler I have seen in the last year was Ishant Sharma. I would like to say Tim Southee but Sharma is alot more developed then Southee.

My Top five are

1.Ishant Shrama
2.Praveen Kumar
3.Jerome Taylor
4.Stuart Broad
5.Tim Southee

Dale Steyn is young but has been playing for awhile now.

me too
because in this list there are poeple who have alredy established themselves!
Well, it is your thread. Age in general is a bit unfair, because you will almost never see a teenager play for Australia or South Africa. It's more a measure of how much that team needs a young bowler than their skill relative to all bowlers.

Maybe a better measure would be to limit the number of years since debut or the number of matches played, whilst keeping the 25 year old limit. It's still a bit messy as to which bowlers are doing well at ODIs and which are doing well at Tests. If you were to limit the players to 30 ODIs, Dale Steyn would still make the cut, in spite of 100 Test wickets.
