First game at centurion. Should be a good game. Pitch is usually good and with altitude the ball goes further. Also shouldn't be any rain. No rain predicted and the only rain we have had for the last month was a very short thunder storm on saturday evening, nothing that cause major problems to cricket. Actually, Royals may win this one since Delhi openers aren't very confident of late or even then I am yet to see Sehwag dominate Shane Warne. Also if Royals can play Vettori safe, they have enough batters to post 160+ total.

DD openers are bound to fire today could be that day. The Royals will have to be at their peak if they are to cause an upset in particular the bowling which needs to get rid of the top 4 to be any hope.

160 won't be enough at centurion and wanderers. Usually scores at the coast are lower by about 20 runs compared to these two venues. Pitches are usually flatter with less seam and swing and the altitude makes hitting 6's easier. If 200 is going to be reached it will be at one of those 2 venues.

Dinesh Karthik is a laughable batsman. Why's he rated so highly by a few guys on here? I've never been particularly impressed by him.

Munaf Patel's an muppet as well, getting Vettori out with a no ball. Why does he do that little jump into the crease? Offers no biomechanical purpose whatsoever, and he's clearly only doing it because Glenn McGrath used to. He could probably be quite quick if he ran in straight and carried through all the way straight, as opposed to jumping in prior to his delivery.

Karthik is someone who can smack everyone around at Domestic level but is an eipc fail when it comes to International cricket, like Rohit Sharma.

Except that Rohit Sharma's done it in the IPL, against world class bowlers, whereas Karthik can seemingly only do it in India against the domestic attacks.
