If you do not meet them, you will have trouble getting the game to work.

If you are unsure, click the Start button, click run, and type in Dxdiag. The information in the Display tab is important, if it says something about an Intel GMA chipset, you probably won't be able to run the game.

For help on what it all means, click the save all information button and post that here (as an attachment). Try to give information about any error messages you get, and mention if you are using the retail version or the demo.

There is no way to update a laptop's graphic card. Your best bet is to buy a new pc or a gaming device.
Even I felt my laptop cannot handle the game, but it proved me wrong. Going in full steam at high settings.

you could barely scrape through a game that was released two years ago,how do you expect to run a game that is graphically much superior and possibly one generation ahead?

btw i have three machines in my room that play the demo great ;)

Is your processor dual core? If yes then it'll work. What's your operating system btw?

There's your problem. Why have a pretty good video card in the 9600GT and then bottleneck it with only 1GB RAM and a single core processor?

Upgrade to at least 2GB of RAM, and a dual core processor, and theres your high settings :)
