Well, after seeing some remarkable efforts here in this forums, I wanted to give a trial run and see if it really works. No pre-defined hard rules - Just the leagues with superb efforts goes into the poll.

Since there are too many leagues to my eyes, I am dividing into two groups. Again, there is no logic behind this division.

It's just Super league & Plate League. Bottom 2 from super league goes to plate division & top 2 from plate division comes to super division. If new leagues are getting added in next month's contest, it will be added into plate divsion. :)

Super Leagues - Tier ONE

ICC Test Championship - BKB1991
World Cricket Alliance - Hedger
World Premier League - bcvs
NZPL season III - CG123
IPL 2 - Mihir Doshi

Rewards:

Thread stickied for one month
200K VCash for the league owner.
Consistent winner would be awarded 500K every 3 months once.

Plate Leagues - Tier TWO

PC Tri Nations - riz7khan12
Australian Premier League - Biggy
American Super League - blazerix
Western T20 League - Aussie Team
Cricsim championship - Varun
West Indian Premier League - Akash

Rewards

Thread stickied for one month
100K VCash for the league owner
Plus promotions for top two to Super League.
Consistent winner would be awarded 500K every 3 months once.

Note :

1) It's just for fun. :)

Ok, We will use this as feedback thread too. So, you are now free to shout back your concerns/feedback in this thread :)

@ Suren - Are we basing our vote on the league in general, or it's works over the last month???

Good idea. But there should be some restriction.
Cos' now, it'll be leagues, which will start flowing like what happened in stories section.

I don't see why, I guess the stories was just for the tag, unless they need vcash but 100-500k isn't really that much

I think this is a very good initiative which will encourage league owners to carry on the good work on a consistent basis and hopefully bring the activity back to this section, which has been lacking a bit for the last 2-3 months. :)

It accounts on both. It also accounts other 'X' factors that includes extra efforts like,

1) Narrating the extra events apart from plain scorecard and graphs.
2) Involvement in the league as the owner
3) Some more X factors like - In case of WCL, Hedger took over from bcvs and continued despite it's decision to end some ages ago. Though some problems do exist in WCL, it's going on still. ;)

Hope you got my point. Efforts in any form matters.

Well, the fun behind this idea is,

1) League with top class efforts fights for top place in TIER1 and promotions to Super League from TIER 2. So, it's not going to be any title clash I believe & hope. :)
2) So if there are many inflow of leagues, let's just not bother. They won't be added in these groups.

Worst Case Scenario : All these 10 or 11 leagues going inactive for many months. I don't see that happening because, all the league owners have continued till this level with commitment themselves which is indeed a good news for all our members.

^^^ Yeah, because it the main and most recognized league on PC.
I think the battle will more be who stays up in Tier ONE.

Though I have no interest in leagues but I have seen some very good efforts being taken by the league managers. I was a part of WPL in the previous season but wasn't active much. Still, the manager took some great efforts there. I also saw Varun's league and that was very well managed too. Same with BKB's league.

Overall, I think this is a good initiative and will inspire the managers to carry on. I just hope it doesn't over-inspire some.
