I am thinking to get a mobile. I have recently got a laptop so I don't think I can spend much on a mobile phone. My budget is 5,000 IR. So far I have found this phone quite good.

Suggestions please.

Stay away from Micromax. Cheap chinese stuff.

Even I won't suggest going on for Micromax. If you aren't much technology freak, go for either Samsung or LG to get a good piece in your budget, or go in with Nokia to get a nice piece with much more reliability.

Hmmm.. I can think of only Corby when I think about a touch/qwerty mobile phone from a international company ranging b/w 5000 to 6000 INR. (in Delhi)

Yeah, corby is fine. It's not under my budger though. But if I don't find a good phone under my budget then I'll need to spend a little more than 5,000.

My friend bought Corby for 5800 INR.Get it
It have all the features you can think of.Though this phone doesn't have 3G technology but the model with 3G technology will cost you around 9k.

The iPhone in the US sells for $199 (around 10,000/-) SUBSIDIZED (on contract for 2 years). Unlocked is around $700!
