James Faulkner fu*k off, he is no way closer to any of our bowler's standards & yet he is playing a match winning knock when our star batsman have failed.

This was my guess yesterday.
My guess is James Faulkner will hit the winning runs.

Murali, Sobers, Hazlewood and Matthews.
Who will bowl the last two overs. May be Murali and Hazlewood. Let's see.

This is really a close match.

Check his stats. He had won many matches for Australia single handedly with his batting.

Anyday I would prefer Faulkner over Hazlewood in ODIs.

He bats at 7 or 8. So it's not possible for him to score many 100s and 50s.
But he is a real match winner with bat, not like Ravindra Jadeja.

He has only smashed some decent bowlers, but here he almost scored a match winning 50 against Murali, Sobers, Vaas & Starc...

Hmm, I would say he is capable of doing that.
He is technically not sound but he has the brutal power to clear the fence.

We really need someone like Faulkner.
He is a pure hitter. He has performed under pressure, without pressure.
have scored only ten 50's so far in limited overs format James Faulkner | Australia Cricket | Cricket Players and Officials | ESPN Cricinfo & Hazlewood is not Ishant he is the new Mcgrath.
Because he comes at 7 or 8 like PCA where he comes scores some quick 30's or 40's and steer his team towards victory.

You guys just piss off. His place in Australian team is not yet cemented, but you guys are just supporting without any lick of sense, I agree he has hit some shots against decent bowlers, but not a single time against a great bowler & then how he has smashed against Murali, Sobers, Vaas & Starc is beyond me, only sim will know it & i am not blaming @RAGHU .

@Aravind.

The fact of the matter is there is no great bowler nowadays.
Everything depends on pitch. Ashwin is in ICC top 10 bowler rankings in all formats of the game but even he is not a regular in Indian team.

You can't replace McGrath, Warne, Murali, Akram, Younis, Ambrose, etc.
Those days are gone.

Stern, Starc, etc are having potential but they still have a long distance to go before calling them the great bowlers.
