Advice on difficulty settings in Career Mode

So I’ve been playing for a little while now on the settings that Cricket ‘19 ships with. I’m looking to just up the difficulty a bit now.
It’s more the bowling, as I’m getting between 5-10 wickets in a match (first class) and only going for about 1 run an over.
The batting is kind of ok at the mo as I’ll still have days when I can’t seem to time a thing and snick off early.
So my question is, can anyone give me any pointers how to raise the difficulty incrementally over time instead of a big jump? As I don’t want to suddenly not be able to play half way through a career.
It’d be great to know a slider/setting set up that’d make the bowling a bit more difficult and also for the batting as I’m sure I’ll be need it soon.

just change the opposition level and the bowling will be harder.I have them on legend i have never taken more than 4 wickets in an inning but i may just be plain useless at bowling.
