Not really, I don't think its worth getting right now. The program updates everyday and it keeps asking for you to restart it.

BTW I got bored so I searched how to speed up firefox even more. Here is what I found.

How To Speed Up Firefox (Helpful Vanity)

Here's something for broadband people that will really speed Firefox up:

1.Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining network.http.proxy.pipelining network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0". This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages MUCH faster now!

Wow wow wow guys! Fantastic!

I first installed Firefox, and then I stumbled upon this thread. I have added all add-ons listed here in this thread, and now I am having much faster browsing.

I feel Planet Cricket is much faster with Firefox! Thanks a ton guys for your information! Ok now its time to dump my good old buddy, IE

Does anyone know if it's possible to have the (ctrl + o) that IE has? I know firefox has it but thats for opening a file. In IE you can type in a website just like you would in the address bar.

The reason I ask is I don't want to paste a link into my address bar cause it gets messy, is there some firefox extension that does this?

Prakash what does that script do? I installed it but don't see what it does lol.

Also any other scripts you recommend installing?

With that you can drag and drop the hotmail email links, so that you can open your hotmail emails in new window or new tab. Just browse through http://www.userscripts.org you can find plenty of them.

If you want you can try out my green pc skin link. Remember to select the old skin.
