The new F.A Premiership season is about to get underway in a few days, and all the teams are looking fit and ready to get back in to the swing of things for another Premiership season which looks to be more exciting than the last. We'll be here every step of the way following Newcastle United in their quest for the glory days to return back to St. James Park. How will live be without Alan Shearer the clubs highest all time goal scorer? How will Scott Parker lead as captain? All will be revealed right here, very soon!

The Newcastle United first team line-up for the Fulham game looks like this

It looks strong on paper but now they have to perform on the pitch, Fulham will provide a strong first up opposition. A good start to the season would be with 3 points away at Fulham.

This is an exciting story so far. It's nice to see a non-cricketing story.

Here's hoping that Newcastle thump Fulham in the first match. (mainly because Fulham are full of ham)
Good luck culli.

The Fulham vs Newcastle game started extremely brightly as Newcastle managed to get the majority of shots on goal worthwhile, but the game got exciting when Nolberto Solano picked up a inch-perfect pass from Michael Owen and buried it into the top corner of the net. A truly sublime finish from the Peruvian!

At the half-time interval Newcastle United are in a commanding position and must surely be looking to get more goals in the second half. To be fair though Fulham have been far from there best.

i hope NC loose all their matches lol kidding looks like a good one what diffeculty you playing on?

It wasn't the best of games in all honesty, but Newcastle United won't mind as they leave the game with three points in the bag and the best possible start to the season.

A good result for Newcastle under pressure to perform, but this can only lead them on to bigger things in the near future.

Above is the Premiership table after the season's first game. Hopefully Newcastle United can continue their good form into their next game at home to Charlton.

There was a thrilling atmosphere inside St James Park for the Charlton game, the fans were obviously hoping for a good game in which their side would come out on top. Charlton have a reputation for hanging back and catching teams on the break. I've tried to stop this happening by replacing Charles N'Zogbia, who is an attacking midfielder, with Kieron Dyer who gets back and forward well.

The fans were hoping for another win under their belts but would Charlton prove to be a tough opposition? Will Owen score his first goal of the season? Updates soon.

This game has started with a bang with a wonderful Luque finish in the 6th/7th minute. The Spanish striker has been criticised lately for his lake of passion for the fans and will to succeed at Newcastle United. I bet he was pleased with that goal to get him off the mark for this season.

Newcastle needed that goal to settle themselves down and get a good win in their first home game of the season, but they can't get to carried away, they still have a job to do.

good story not stroy
it was just a spelling mistake, and no need to 'teach' me English!

You'd think Newcastle United would hold back for a while after gaining the upper hand in their second game of the season against Charlton, but Newcastle didn't hold back and went for the second goal. It came through that man again, Luque. He was set up wonderfully by a perfect through ball and finished for his second of the game.

With Luque in this form he is quite remarkable to say the least. Now the lead is a comfortable one and you would be considered a fool not to bet money on Newcastle taking the three points for themselves.

Great little story developing here mate! It's nice to see a Pro Evo story about too.
