The thing is Wales are missing only 2 centres from last years 6 nations winning side. Last year they beat England 11-9 this year they get thrashed 47-13. Clearly Wales win last year was due to the top 2 sides rebuilding. Wales have once again fallen back into the heap.

And i agree with you there. Although we are missing 8 players - but that doesnt matter. England are back again now. Personally, I predict France to win the 6 Nations. But I think that everybody will lose one match (at least), I don't know where. But for England, it would be in France, and for France it could be in Wales as we are playing them last and we could stop them getting the GS like we did to England a few years ago.

8 players? I was comparing the sides from England v Wales last year and this year and only the centres were different. The hooker was different but Davies was on the bench so thats Wales choice.

Hard to say who will take this GS with France yet to play. I can say it will either be France or England. Ireland are shocking in attack. They can never rack up massive scores against lowly ranked sides. And no I'm not making this comment just based on the Italy game, but also on games last year.

I can see Scotland winning too. Its at home and Scotland has been on the up lately.
Should be a very interesting match as pointed out cause England have also been on the up.

My Weekend Predictions:

FRANCE v IRELAND:
Should be a close and exciting game with both teams definetly out-of-form. I'm tipping for the French because of home advantage.
FRANCE 31 - 27 IRELAND.

ITLAY V ENGLAND:
A much better encounter for the two, unlike previous years. England will find it difficult but may snatch the win in the last 15 minutes, when the Italians start to tire.
ITALY 26 - 32 ENGLAND.

WALES v SCOTLAND:
One team sky high and one team rock solid bottom. Wales will look to get back on track after last weeks defeat to the English. Although the Scots may dominate the forwards area, the Welsh back (if they are consistent enough) may just prevail, but another close game in the closest 6 Nations - ever!!!
WALES 43 - 34 SCOTLAND

My predictions
France to beat Ireland in a close one, home advantage also in favour of France.
England by 13 and over, this English side looks the goods this year and Hodgson is in fine touch.
Scotland to cause yet another upset and beat Wales. They took care of Scotland and Wales just aren't back at their best yet. Match will be a low scoring affair.

Well, it may seem that the French have played amazing - but the truth is they havent. Irish mistakes have resulted in all 4 French tries. Ireland have had so much more posession and terriotory - but do they have a chance?

It's a mixture of Irish mistke and some really good defence from France. Frence defence is stopping the Irish scoreing the tries and the Irish mistakes are giving France the tries. Ireland should really be on top and if they manage to stop their mistakes I think it could be very close.

Well - a great match! Ireland coming closer by the minute but they just couldnt do it in the end. France only really created one of their tries. It seemed as if they 'walked off of the park' if you know what i mean!

Good fightback by the French that looked like the French team of old that beat the All Blacks in the semi final.
