7/11 Mumbai shocked with serial train bomb-blasts

This is extremely sad news :( . I express my heartfelt condolences to all those families who have been affected by these series of bomb blasts. I hope our Indian friends of PC living in Mumbai are safe.

I saw it today at work, very sad.
They said there were fears of more bombs exploding.

Latest NEWS 174 dead ....and shortage of blood in hospitals ...now this is getting even worse :(
and people who saw the blasts with their own eyes said that when the blasts occoured the passengers were confused and jumped out of running train. :( :(

This is pretty bad news. I heard about the blasts in England when I was internetting the previous year. And now I also found about this on the internet. I hope everybody who has a relative there is safe.

This is really sad, I used to live in Srinagar and Mumbai. Now they both have been hit.

That really is sad news! All trains on the Western Railway.. They are showing the news nonstop on CNN. i fell sad for all those :(. May God help them at this stage. :upray

Just woke up to watch the news about the horridic news in Mumbai. Really sad news, condolences to those who have been affected.

Feel really sad abt what has happened in Mumbai. In fact, we had a mass prayer today for those who died in these blasts and for those who are fighting for their lives.

Those who believe in God, please pray for them! Those who dont - at least hope that things like this dont happen again in future!

Its becoming very common these days, and thats the frightening thing. It is the single greatest threat the world is facing, especially India. Terrorism, of any kind.

We all pray for the dead, and those who are fighting it out in the hospital, but i think its high time we find a solution sooner than later. Its not in the government's hands, its in the people's hands.

R.I.P all those innocent souls that have been lost to this despicable act.

Most heartening thing was to see the pictures of people standing in long queues to donate their blood to save the injured. Bless those noble souls.

My condolences to all the victims' families. Hopefully all our Indian PC members are safe and sound along with their families.

This is a very frustrating thing in the world right now. Countless terrorists attacks trying to kill innocent people. A peaceful world seems so impossible to do.

Hopefully all the people injured will pull through and the dead will rest in peace :(.

now there is no panic condition here in Mumbai ....Security is tightened ....but still most of the people are missing

To watch the photos of yesterday's incident {Admin edit: we could do without gruesome pictures - Ritwik}

It was disgusting how British newspapers ignored the incident today. Only 3 papers had anything on the front page about it at all. The other two seemed to think that another Diana affair and another Home Office cockup was more important. And of two out of the 3 with the story, they had it in a smaller box as the 3rd most important article. Only one paper (the Independant) had the decency to put it on a full page.

If this had happened in, say, New York, it would be very different. Should it be?

Of course, most of the tabloids (one of which had the story on front page) probably didn't have any reporters or something in Mumbai.
This detailed analysis was performed on my paper round ;)

RIP Mumbai. :(
