Hey Up, If County Cricket's Like This, I Think Im Gunna Enjoy This!

Bracken didnt really learn from his previous team mate that playing the forward defensive down the wicket is a risky shot. It had the same outcome, Bracken gone, and my 5-for's up, I'm really feeling good now, and i feel i can take the wicket of Mcgrath, i need to, he is the one who took my wicket in the first innings.

I Got The Final Say With Glenn Mcgrath, Or So I Think!

I finally got my man, the one who got me, Glenn Mcgrath. These Aussies may be a bit of alright with the bat and the ball but against the spinner they all follow the same suit, im sure Masca' wont mind pouching 3 or 4 Aussie batmen. I took 6 wickets which is just enough to forgive my proformance with the bat, but im back out there in 20 minute facing the firing line once again, god i hope Glenn forgets quickly else i might be in for a bit of hostility.

I Was Always Told Aussies Get Thier Revenge

Glenn Mcgrath started the innings by bowling one of the fastest deliveries for maybe 5 years, Glenn had the pace inching towards the top end of the 80's (MPH), i dont know the exact speed and niether does Haddin who totally didnt expect it and it went flying for 4 byes.

Second ball came, a big outswinger, which i took with ease, and slotted it through the covers for 4, it was a decent shot, and the crowd knew it. I had to get the Hampshire management on my side, but i also had the bigger task of getting the Hampshire fans on my side.

3rd ball came and it came with moans from the majority of the crowd and cheers from the small number of Aussies who had made thier was to the Rose Bowl. Mcgrath had got me back good and proper, i totally played down the wrong line, and it missed my bat by a mile. i thought it would swing out, but it niether swung nor seamed, it kepted dead straight and cost me my wicket. I'm not looking good for starting the new campaign after this batting display.
