Paul Robinsons save yesterday against Hartson was world -class, one of the best I have ever seen. Can anyone think of any great saves they have seen (can be anywhere)?

Buffon made some brilliant saves in the 2003/04 Champions League...especially in Juventus' semi-final against Real Madrid. His stop against Zidane's free kick was unbelieveable!

How about, David Seamans great save in the FA Cup semi-final a couple of years ago, maybe 3 years, nt sure. It was past him and he clawed it back. The game was against Sheffield United if anyone remembers. Great save!

Yeah I remember it, terrific save.
One of the best I've ever seen (and I was only a nipper at the time but have seen it on many a replay over the years) was in the 1973 FA Cup Final, Sunderland v Leeds, when Sunderland keeper Jim Montgomery pulled off an unbelievable doube save, pushing the first effort across the goal then getting up to push the rebound onto the bar. More or less won Sunderland the cup, and they were huge underdogs.
Still one of the best ever for me.
