Roy Gilchrist

Probably the most bizzare fast bowler to ever play for the Windies Roy Gilchrist may have had a very long career had he not had anger problems. During his 13 match career Gilchrist picked up 57 wickets at 26 over the space of two years.

From Wiki:

Gilchrist's Test career might have been longer had he not been sent home halfway through West Indies' 1958-59 tour of the subcontinent after disagreements with captain Gerry Alexander. One cause of this was Gilchrist's "penchant for bowling beamers from 18 yards" as Cricinfo has put it, as well as off-field arguments. [1] This involved deliberately overstepping the bowling mark by four yards in order to come closer to the batsman and intimidate him. In the Fourth Test at Nagpur, after Indian batsman AG Kripal Singh had struck three consecutive boundaries and taunted him in an attempt to have him lose his temper and be sent home, Gilchrist deliberately overstepped the bowling mark by six metres and delivered a bouncer which hit the Sikh batsman in the head and dislodged his turban.

Sherwin Campbell

One of my first favourite overseas players Sherwin Campbell stood out for me with the way he went about his cricket, and how he didn't have a grill to protect his face. He never really did his talent justice by averaging 32.2 over his 52 match test career, but having played between 1995-2002 you could probably excuse him for that.

While there maybe a number pasted performers at # 3, "Sars" has my pick. After 81 matches, he average 42.32, with 15 hundreds and 31 fifties and still does some limited spin bowling. A former Vice-captain of West Indies, he was the youngest West Indian to reach 5,000 Test runs. He shares a record with two of cricket great batsmen, Ricky Ponting and Sunil Gavaskar for the most forth innings centuries (4).

Pick: Dwayne Bravo

Explanation: Picked primarily for the balance he brings to the side. He's a more than handy batsman with a Test average of 32.73, a very handy bowler with stats that really don't do him justice, an exceptional fielder and a cricketer that will always give his all and make sure his side comes out victorious. A very handy all-rounder to bring into the side at this stage of the draft.

1. Gordon Greenidge
2. Lawrence Rowe
3. George Headley
4. Richie Richardson
5. Alvin Kallicharan
6. Rohan Kanhai +
7. Dwayne Bravo
8. Malcolm Marshall

Wayne Daniel

Wanted to complete my all out pace attack and I ended up taking Wayne Daniel who was unfortunate to start his career in the mid 1970s when West Indies cricket was stacked with great bowlers. But he ended up having a great career for Middlesex with some really impressive numbers. In his 10 test matches he took 36 wickets at an average of 25 and strike rate of 48.7.

1: Desmond Haynes
2: Jeffrey Stollmeyer
3: Viv Richards
4: Clyde Walcott
5: Basil Butcher
6: Clive Lloyd

8: Wes Hall
9: Ian Bishop
10: Curtly Ambrose
11: Wayne Daniel

KP your up, start of the last round guys. This is where some really exciting picks can be made.

Pick: Sylvester Clarke

Explanation: One of the most fearsome fast bowlers to ever play the game. Born to bowl fast and described by David Gower as the fastest bowler he ever faced. He didn't have a particularly long or fruitful Test career but there's no doubting his abilities. Loving my bowling attack, wouldn't wanna face those guys.
