Yuvraj songs are decent, but the movie is soooooo bad

This is what a problem in movie industry u know.. There are many albums where music by ARR simply rocks but at last, the movie will be sooo bad.

In fact, in one of the ARR interviews, he told frankly on tamil industry that he would be very selective in doing projects in tamil because of the late useless stories getting released in tamil.

ARR's first album, Roja in Tamil rocks for ever still in my ears. That's my mobile ringing tone too even now.

From the experience of hearing his songs, What I feel is, When I listen to ARR songs for very first time, it will look ordinary to me. But as I keep hearing it, I will become that song's favorite Some songs in Tamil are exceptions though. They will be like not even worth to hear it

But whatever, he is a legend.

Like What Gates is for Computers, & what Sachin is for Cricket, & what M.Schumi for F1 .... ARR is for music to me.

Theme music from the movie "Ratchagan" in tamil. The theme is stunning.

Yup thats sensational.Also another song ' nenjae nenjae' from the same film is really a fantastic melody.but its not that popular as it should be.
Also he doesnt gets scope to express his music completely in Rajini films recently.So always Rahman's melodies in Rajini movies arent that great.

Rahman's music in films like Tajmahal (Tamil) and Sangamam (Tamil) were probably his best OUTSIDE of a Maniratnam film.. He has always reserved his best for Maniratnam who is one of India's celebrated directors, but these works from Rahman were just the top two of the best ones.

Sangamam is too regionally restricted to be redone in other languages. But I suggest that people listen to both these albums because they are masterpieces.
