Are the Indian cricket team and board bringing cricket into disrepute?

There are more world class stadiums in India then whole world combined

Your talking about Cricket stadiums yes? They look horrible. Most don't even have fixed seating! At some games ive seen people standing on the floodlight on a two metre beam. How can the stadium allow that under health and safety laws?

Its because you remember those matches. Due to stupid policy of rotation every centre needs to be given a game. Spectators will find any spot possible. There are equal number of people outside the stadium as there are inside. Most of the guys outside will be having tickets as well. :p

Theres only one kind of bar you will find in our stadiums and that will be between players and spectators. There are so many idiots out there that it would have rained bottles had Sydney match happened here.

Stadiums might not have seating comfort of MCG but there are big stadiums and most have state of art facilities for players.

Spectators <<<<<<<< Players.

PR is so important in the modern world. I would be very surprised if India didn't have any working behind closed doors

The BCCI does not have a CEO neither do they have a website.

Had Dalmiya been there everything would have been soughted out in backgrounds.

Dalmiya would have been better for us instead of the politcian.

Talking about stadiums in India-they are well poor.
Its high time they start developing good ones with proper seating and stuff.
If not all ,they can atleast pick up the major stadiums.

I still see no reason to close the thread, bad posts can be deleted and this is nothing compared the flaming in India v Aus, which was probably not the correct decision in the first place because it just let the discussion move around.

http://bcci.cricket.deepthi.com/ Is that not the actual website?

Don't start it agian now that it has cooled down.
Let there be no reference to it. :D

Regd the website-this is the first time that i came across it.

Umm.... I can assure you that the grounds they are playing in are no where near the reason that Aussies are participating in IPL. It's a fact that grounds around the world are better than Indian grounds. There are probably about 2-3 world-class stadiums in India.
