Ashes Cricket 2013 General Discussion

hope atleast some of the features will be there
As far as I'm aware:
1. Near perfect Gameplay.4th innings of a test match should be more difficult to play than 1st innings. - we won't know until they release, it's their intention to put near perfect gameplay, but it's not a 'feature' as much as a subjective opinion on the result.
2. More animations ie players reacting to the umpires, batsman to the bowlers, bowlers frustrating the batsman, celebrations after taking a wicket, celebration for scoring centuries, umpires taking together to make a decision, captain taking to the bowler in crucial times - more compared to what? Both games will have these kind of things, though Big Ant are known for including extra animations that only play very rarely in their games. Still AC13 could have a lot.
3. Domestic cricket from top cricketing nations. - Yes for BA14, no for AC13
4. T20 leagues. - Yes for BA14 and AC13.
5. Player career mode with player improvements, test ODI T20 rankings, Player awards yearly, emerging new players, starting with domestic teams and then earning the chance to play for the National team. - Yes for BA14, no for AC13
6. Depth in Stats. - Arguable - signs point to yes for BA14 and more stats compared to IC2010 for AC13.
7. unlock classic Internatonal teams. No for both.
8. Manual LBW appealing. - Yes for BA14, no for AC13
9. DRS, third umpire decision in stadium screen, changing new balls, snicko, hawk eye, hot spot. - Yes for BA14, Hawk Eye and New Balls at least for AC13 - not sure on the third umpire decision thing for either game.
10. Players Stamina, injuries. - Yes for BA14, to some extent in AC13
11. fielders diving to stop and catch the ball. - Well it should happen in both, fielding is all automatic in AC13 so you don't have a choice, in BA14 it's probably up to you whether they dive.

plz atleast give ur kind consideration towards these features.

I'd say 1 and 2 are pretty much required to make a good cricket game. 8 and 9 would be the sort of cool touches that convince you to splurge on the game if you were on the fence. 10 and 11 are again, required.

Some of the others (especially 5-9) would be excellent in a management game but maybe too much to ask for the first iteration of a cricket series. But man, what would I give to see those in ICC!

----------

I think an excellent point of comparison would be the MLB: The Show series - in terms of where this series *should* want to be in three-four iterations. Of course, the baseball game is WAY ahead right now, but it doesn't hurt to aim high.

There's no DRS either.

@cameronbell45 After lengthy discussion we decided against adding DRS, our umpires can make perfect calls every time, avoiding frustration.
bro check in twitter in ashes has replied about drs .:clap
