Yeah this looks a lot balanced as well. Also I feel they would go for Hasan Ali instead of inexperienced Hasnain/Dahani (they are better bowlers currently imo). Unlike the Pakistan teams in the past, the batting seems a strong point of this side. And I think they can manage 160-odd if they bat first but not too sure if the bowling is capable of defending it.

The best bet for Pakistan would be to field first and restrict India to somewhere around 140-160 which is very likely. Again have to see how India's new approach of quick runs over saving wickets works against Pakistan.

Loved the way Afghanistan batted. They were known for their spin bowling but Farooqi has been top notch. Would love to see them play more. All eyes on our top 3 facing Farooqi now!

Onto today, let's do it! It's been almost a year for the wound, let's just take the revenge now!

D-day is here. For me, Pakistan start favourites. It's a format that Pakistan seem to be doing well. Losing Shaheen is a big blow but I feel they can manage.

Hasan Ali is likely to be played, have an eerie feeling that he will have a good day in the field. I would be pleasantly surprised if we win today #twentyForThreeIncoming

India vs Pakistan has taken a more wholesome turn these days owing to Pakistan’s relative decline a few years ago but the current crop have risen superbly in recent times. With the current geopolitical scenario though wouldn’t mind this old sporting rivalry continuing to remain wholesome.

India vs Bangladesh is where it’s at though. For a while it seemed like the latter would be our toughest Asian rival going forward with how feisty they were. Looks like they’re falling off too. I hope they bounce back, a strong Bangladeshi side is desperately needed for global cricket sustenance.

Don't quite remember him doing well against India in his whole career!

He was player of the tournament in that Champions Trophy win. Not sure if he did play well versus India then.

We have a knack of capitulating against the "smaller" or out of form names, so Arshdeep and Avesh are 5-fer candidates, and Kohli will make a half-century.

Hasan Ali vs India - when he did well:

3 for 19 in 6.3 overs - CT'17 final.

Hasan Ali vs India - when he didn't:

1 for 70 in 10.0 overs - CT'17 group game.
0 for 33 in 4.0 overs - Asia Cup'18 group game.
0 for 52 in 9.0 overs - Asia Cup'18 Super 4s game
1 for 84 in 9.0 overs - WC'19 group game.
2 for 44 in 4.0 overs - T20WC'21 group game.

The way I see it, and CK said this before, this tourney is either gonna be the end of him for the foreseeable, or it will rejuvenate his career entirely.

Make or break for PM of Roti Gang.
