Wow--3 months in England. I predict Australia winning almost everything. Drawing a few and maybe losing one here or there.

Well I predict that it will be Australia 3-1. Yes, as has been said many times, England is second on the ICC rankings, but Australia are the next step up on the ladder. the "Aussies r tops"....seriously

Aussie selection policy has to be commended. They bring in youngsters at the right time. Aussie selectors now have realized that McGrath and possibly even Gilchrist are reaching the dawn of their careers and are bringing in Haddin and Shaun Tait at the right time so that when these great cricketers retire they do not have a sudden dearth of experienced cricketers.

Also, making the selectors job easier is the whole Cricket Australia infrastructure. Great facilities, opportunities for Aussie cricketers.

Looks like McGrath thinks that freddie and Harmison are the only persons that pose a threat to Australia.

Meanwhile Kasper and Katich are wary of Pitersen.

yeah I realized my mistake when I looked at their ages in cricinfo. but my point is that the Aussie selectors have started grooming a young fast bowler and started giving another keeper a chance foreseeing Gilchrist's and McGrath's future.

After having a sniff at Lords :D

I think we will make the Ashes tighter than Most people think.

Harmison and Freddie will make the Aussie batsman struggle.

Although i don't think Pieterson will play as Thorpe is better imo. We need a consolidation Batsmen as it were.

Series Result Australia 3-1
Man of the Series Shane Warne
General Notes England will be humbled after the first test, Strauss will show himself to be very very good, Warnie will take 25+ wickets, Flintoff will take <10 wickets and <200 runs, McGraths 500th wicket will be Trescothick in the first 10 overs, Harmison will take <15 wickets.
