It's worth keeping in mind, but I wouldn't play for rain. For the moment, giving India as little as possible of the good batting conditions was a handy enough ploy.

You want to bowl off spinners around the wicket to a batsman like Vijay. It's one thing to hit the loose ball, but he's displaying a massive favouring of the onside when he does it.
