Why didn't they go for David Hussey instead of Watson

That does my head in. I wouldn't back Watson to do anything on these pitches with the ball and just bowl straight up and down..

I guess though the team is more flexible with Watson. Probably.

On paper excluding our prior knowledge of Watson, yea he offers flexibility as does White. But David Hussey is handy with the ball, and what more he offers a spin option. What we need is a solid batter and Watson hasn't done anything since his injury to justify his selection apart from the IPL which is so far from Test cricket it's not funny.

David Hussey had a fantastic domestic season last year not picking him was the stupidest thing the selectors have done for a long time imo.

India have a chance now of dismissing them for bellow 400!
Nearly single handed work by Sharma,He's the only one to get wickets today!
Though Huss has been amazing too,Those two I'd have in a fantasy XI any day!

Very positive for Australia that they've only lost one wicket to the spinners, and that one wicket was Ponting on over 100. Obviously Sharma is bowling really well, but he won't take 4 wickets every innings, and India will expect more from Kumble and Harbhajan.

Or maybe they should go with Chawla instead of Kumble and then they would have more chance!

I don't understand this captaincy by Kumble. Pressure Lee with Ishant and make Hussey feel pressured to try and give himself the strike. It's too easy for Lee and Hussey to pick them off.

As usual, the tail is frustrating us again.
Lee does not look like getting out at all.In fact Hussey might be in with a chance to sneak a 200 in here.

As I said before the series, its Zaheer and Ishant who could win us matches in this series and not the spinners.Both Harbhajan and Kumble are past their prime now.

Hussey is batting amazingly once again, way hes going he may well be able to maintain his average in the high 60s. Lee has looked pretty solid today, there are times where he looks shakey but not today.
