wow batting masterclass from Mr.Cricket!!! We should be looking to get few quick runs after tea and have a crack at them for few overs. Still a slight chance of getting 500 (nothing is impossible when we have Hussey). Indian bowlers pretty ineffective so far , Sharma bowled really well though.

That was a beauty of a delivery--reverse swing and all--to dismiss Mitch. Hopefully we can build some team momentum, at least, before we get attacked by Lee.

Good stuff from ZaK. At least we have built some momentum by mopping up the last three in just 4 overs after tea. Let's hope this inspires our batsmen somewhat. We need to have Sehwag there overnight and lose at most 2 wickets if we stand a chance. Unfortunately, there are just enough overs left for all their bowlers to bowl their hearts out for the remainder of the session.

Australia bowled out below 450.So a reasonably good effort in this last session by India.

Its time we start trusting our seamers and make pitches which help our seamers.Our spinners are over-rated and can only run through sides if the pitch is a minefield.This is not an observation made from watching this game but the past 3 years.

The real problem with our spinners is that one of them doesn't spin the ball and the other had been throwing darts for the best part of the last couple of seasons. Luckily Harby's starting to get out of that rut, and hopefully Mishra and Chawla can turn it more when Kumble finally quits.
