the batsmen need to score atleast 100 runs to qualify and as of now 50 players have managed to do so. (Simon Katich, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez, Gibbs, CL White etc. could not qualify as a result)

the blog also has some interesting stats like .. the best icon player so far ... player with the highest pecentage of runs in 6s & 4s and even the worst batsmen in IPL so far ;)

Shaun Marsh has been the best for me. Scored runs at ease.

Luke Pomersbach's awesome. He's not been out in the whole tournament, and has a decent run tally. He's definitely going to be a big player in Australia's future I reckon. Get him in the test side tbh, that Ponting fella's rubbish. :p

agree that Luke Pomersbach's been great.. but the only reason why hez been not out so far is that he has only played in 3 matches :)

Gautham Gambhir has been the most fluent of the lot and has scored so quickly without taking much risks at all.

Gambhir-the unsung hero.

Apart from him,i'd say Yusuf Pathan has also done well. Deserves and ODI cap now.

Marsh on top!

Marsh after his match winning 60 .. has become the top batsman in IPL so far ..
eek::eek:

Marsh and Gambhir have been very consistent, can't split them. I think Marsh has more 50s from memory but I could be wrong.

The stats show that Gambhir is the clear winner,as he hold the Orange cap as well. Marsh has done well,but has played less matches than Gambhir.So,one cant really choose between the two as of now.
