this is the error i got i hv already installed microsoft visual C++ Redistribution 2008 but still i hv got this error i hv also installed the game again after uninstalling it but still i m gettting this error wats wrong plzzz help thx

I am having the following error message when i start my game

ohh yes i am having all the recommended system specifications as well but still i am not able to play the game

hey i have just bought and installed the game BUT I JUST CANT RUN THE GAME I PRESS THE EXE AND NOTHING HAPPENES THE GAME RUNS ON THE TASKBAR BUT NOTHING HAPPENES.THERE HAVE BEEN MANY POSTS ABOUT THIS BUT I COUNT FIND ANY FIXES

hi i have an acer laptop with intel C2D 2.0GHZ with 512mb nvidia geforce 9600m graphics card and 3gb ddr3 with lots of hard drive space but ashes cricket 2009 take lots of time to load and slows during gameplay and even stutters. i have tried reinstall but same result. any reason why this is happening and how to solve the problem?

When I click on the game I get an error report. I tried Run As Adminstrator on my XP as well. No luck. Game ONLY works when my internet is connected, then when I click it runs. Any ideas? I reinstalled did everything my DXDIAG was fine according to Codemasters.
I am having exactly the same problem. Codemasters have suggested a dozen things to try (basically updating everything and uninstalling everything else on the computer! None of it makes any difference. I suspect they have issued a game which is very fussy about the graphics set up - and therefore useless for most of us.

The codemaster's customer service team replied to all my queries regarding running the game and finally they helped me....

Go to start menu and select run ashes cricket 2009 in safe mode..

Coaching and saved games...
I am having trouble running both the mention 'format' of the game and experience a lag while trying to play either of them. Whenever I try to play either Coaching or a saved game I experience a very pathetic lag which denies of responding to the ball type or batting type (i.e. does not read my key command....batsman will leave the ball if i am batting or bowler will bowling no balls if i am bowling). Am I the only one with this problem ? If so, any solutions to this ? :help
