DeGroot Reaches 99

Degroot is Just 1 run away from his Century!!!

41nd over - Degroot on 99 and is playing very cautiously and has play the whole over without getting a run....He looks very very nervous and is defending almost every ball

42rd over - Whole over played by Diwan....first 2 were dot balls and then a four. Next ball was hit down to long on for a double and then the last 2 ball were dot balls

43th over - first 3 balls were all short balls....degroot tried to pull them but missed....luckyly no edge......next three balls were all played beautifully by Degroot but the zimbabwean fielding was even better, they didnt let Degroot get a run.

44th over - first ball was hit by Diwan to square leg very hard by the fielder at square leg stopped it brilliantly

Here comes the Century

Then the next ball was hit to long on and Diwan got a single...Degroot now on strike. The ball was bowled down the leg side, degroot comes down the ground and playes the ball in the gap between square leg and mid wicket. A really well deserved century by Degroot. Played 12 dot balls before geting the ball his century

Diwan joins Degroot and plays a few great shots over mid wicket and long on

DeGroot dismissed for 102!!!!

Degroot tries to play the ball over long off this time but mistimes it completly and gives a simple catch to mid-off who makes no mistake and catches the ball comfortably.

The Next man in for canada is Bagai at number 6

The first ball that Bagai plays goes straight to Mid-on who misses a simple catch that came straight to him.....An extra life for Bagai.
Bagai now needs to use this life and play so good cricket for Canada

Similar sight for the zimbabwean players

The situations just get worse for Zimbabwe as the only chances they get are edges that dont even carry

At the end of 50 overs Diwan scores his half - century in 47 balls...very entertaining indeed
