Catches

I am enjoying Brian Lara generally despite its flaws but one thing that is really irritating me is that I have so far not been able to make any catches at all.

When the ball is in the air the catching meter appears but despite pressing the correct button, the arrow always continues over the line and I end up palming the ball skywards like a goalkeeper.

Is anyone else having this problem? I am playing on the PC. Can someone please explain where I am going wrong?

I don't know.All I can tell you is you need to start early and get the arrow in the middle(which you already know).Maybe you are pressing the wrong button.

has anyone noticed that when the batsmen hits the ball in the air sumtimes the fielders run in as if trying to field it and then throw the ball up and he is out caught without the meter even coming up? This happened to me twice in a 20 20 against the aussies
