CD/DVD Image burning

Just a quick query, is it possible to burn a cd image onto a dvd? because my school maths book comes with a cd (but since i bought mine 2nd hand i didnt get one) so i borrowed my mates and made an image of the cd (this isnt illegal for those wondering because I own the book, and my book was meant to come with a cd but it didnt) but i only have dvd's around my house, is there any way to do this because i cant be stuffed buying a cd, and my comp doesnt like the unnecessary 700mg

shouldnt be a problem ricky, an "cd image" is a cd-rom thats been ripped into a file and dvd just supports more data. no problems

But the question is will an image reader like Daemon Tools read CD Images from a DVD. I doubt it.

probably not but you could use something like powerISO to convert the cd image into files then burn them to DVD

with nero theres an option to burn an .iso .bin whatever image it is to cd/dvd
