Changing the field and other misc (Button config?)

I ran a search on the forum and couldnt find a solution to my problem. Basically I cant do the following things:
Pick a captain, select bowler etc etc including not being able to customise and change the field.

It is to do with the numbering on the bottom of each respective screen but it doesnt work when i press it.
e.g. 4 is to select bowler or captain BUT it doesnt work.

The same applies to fielding, hitting the corresponding button to try and change it doesnt work.

Does anyone know or have similar problems that they have fixed?

The buttons to be used r the ones u have configured for batiing.

Button for changing bowler is the button for leaving the ball
Button for changing captain is the button for advancing shot

While setting field u just have to press enter after selecting the type of field.

for custom field press the advance shot button after selecting custom field and then u can place the fielders by using buttons 1-9 for the respective fielders and move by directional keys.
