Congrats to Maxkarter, he played well. Especially Furlong and Huis, the guys that got centuries.

Pipped me on the batting, but I found out to my surprise how well my lower order can bat (see below). Makes me wonder if I need to buy a few more pure bowlers...

Speaking of Osmond, he was surprisingly good without a huge amount of batting stats...:
Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: proficient
Batting: woeful Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: proficient
Fielding: mediocre

I'm playing a tough team, owner of the former NT player Jarvis Palmer (Who, incidentally, I faced last season too but when he was in a different team, and I lost). They are batting first, dusty pitch, but Rudi has struck early.
44/1 after 7, Palmer and a beast of a batsman (Who is only 19) known as Bexfield batting.

They are 101/1 after 16 overs!! Eek!!

Beat the Village Amateurs by 55 runs! Very pleased, Ainsworth scored 102, and Moodley chipped in with a quick 68 at the end. Bowling wise, openers dissapointed, Forbes was very impressive getting 2, and captain Ali finished with his career best figures of 4-51.

Should have beat me really, but my lads did the job!

I'd say you fluked out. My ratings were better than that on Friday!
Fluked! You dont score 280+ against a team with ratings like that and fluke a win! It just shows that my team is pretty darn strong and seemingly underestimated by you and the reporters!

Should go out next round anyway, drawn a tough Div.III side.

Nah, you fluked. One batter had a good day.

End of Over 31: 195-1, runrate=6.29

Bexfield 92 (90 balls)

I'll be chasing 400 :crying

Dugdale* 31 (28 balls)
Palmer 91 (102 balls)

Last Wicket: Bexfield Run Out 97 (FOW: 201/2)

:(

They are getting 350 easy...

Something recovered:

End of Over 43: 268-4, runrate=6.23
Rudi 7-0-41-2
Gomes* 5 (6 balls)
Tweed 1 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Palmer lbw b. Rudi 95 (FOW: 266/4)

The question is, will my batting be able to chase 280-300?

A collapse has given me a breath of life here:

End of Over 48: 289-8, runrate=6.02
Tuckett 9-0-48-4
Bewers* 4 (5 balls)
Spooner 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Glasser c. Rheams b. Tuckett 1 (FOW: 289/8)

Still will be very tough to chase.

290 a/o, 291 to win! Rudi gets 5 wickets, Tuckett 4!

End of Over 9: 40-1, runrate=4.44, reqrunrate=6.12 (290-10)
Glasser 5-1-20-0
Rudi* 17 (18 balls)
Cox 22 (28 balls)

Last Wicket: Spearitt lbw b. Bewers 1 (FOW: 18/1)
Solid start so far. The collapse is just around the corner I tells ya...

275/5 after 50 overs. Pathetic. Couldn't even try to lift the runrate.

Code:
 Ballard TT Lions
Top Order: proficient mediocre
Middle Order: mediocre competent
Lower Order: woeful abysmal
Seam Bowling: competent respectable
Spin Bowling: feeble respectable
Fielding: feeble feeble
I could have won according to these ratings, but the batsmen were just PATHETIC!
And I can't understand why Rudi didn't get MOTM. 5/48 and a run-a-ball 137 isn't enough...

End of Over 22: 106-0, runrate=4.82
Banks 1-0-6-0
Howlett* 61 (64 balls)
Tyas 42 (69 balls)

i was gonig for 7 an over 8 overs before this and all his bwlers are cheap now maybe he had them on defensive. its really annoying

This match is almost up for grabs on a very good batting pitch.

My team (Maharashtra Warriors) is chasing a big total, and a mistake from either side could really make an impact, but for now, its balanced, although with 7 wickets in hand, I think my team will win.

My game has been a bowlers nightmare for both teams.Need 11 an over in the next 3 overs chasing 338.

End of Over 47: 306-3, runrate=6.51, reqrunrate=11.00 (338-1)
Ghandi 9-0-62-0
Resha* 75 (59 balls)
Duncum 79 (81 balls)

EDIT:Make that 12 an over in the last 2.My batters probably dont realise that its time to throw the kitchen sink at the ball.

EDIT:Bah,make that 14 needed in the final over, cant these guys go for sixes?

EDIT:Here's the final over then.Im not editing anymore. :p

9.6 1 Paki to Duncum
Managed to steer to deep backward point, Ahmed running wide to field.
49.5 1 Paki to Resha
That?s just nudged away for a single.
49.4 1 Paki to Duncum
Good cricket, runs it down to third man and rotates the strike.
49.3 1 Paki to Resha
Nurdles one round the corner for the single.
49.2 6 Paki to Resha
That's a top edge and it's gone for six! Paki can't believe it!
49.1 1 Paki to Duncum
Down leg, played out to deep backward square region.

Bah,lost my 2 runs,my players dont even know when to hit the ball.

And that's the end of the match. Bhaarath Army won by 2 runs.
Bhaarath Army 338-1
Sid's Bashers 336-3
