OK i have just had one of the biggest turn arounds, i dont know if its in Battrick history but it might be one of the best on Planetcricket.

ok tahts at 46 overs

End of Over 46: 319-2, runrate=6.93
Ashcroft 8-0-50-0
Karthikeyan* 84 (86 balls)
Carter-harris 7 (7 balls)

Last Wicket: Kerefese b. Dipalesa 143 (FOW: 307/2)

Now here we go 8-7 off 3 overs

46.1 W Juries to Karthikeyan
Gone! That one has sent the middle stump tumbling. Juries gives him a none too subtle send off, pointing him in the direction of the pavilion!

46.5 W Juries to Carter-harris
Carter-harris looks like he's had a few too many sandwiches there. He was never going to get to the non-striker's end before the bails flew off.

47.3 W Ashcroft to Mckie
That's taken off from a length and it's all Mckie can do to fend it away from his face. Gloved through to Roets and the batsman's trudging off the field.

47.6 W Ashcroft to Simmonds
Simmonds is beaten by the swing and gifts a thin edge to Roets.

47.5 W Ashcroft to Ur-rehman
That seemed to stop in the pitch and Ur-rehman was through the shot too early. Ashcroft takes a simple return catch and throws the ball high into the air in celebration.

48.4 W Juries to Nolan
The ball gets cut hard backward of point, but Verde makes a superlative dive. Gets to his feet and pings the stumps down at the bowler's end. Magical bit of fielding!

48.3 W Juries to Chaudry
Caught behind! Juries digs the ball in short, strikes Chaudry on the gloves and the ball pops up to Roets for an easy catch.

48.2 W Juries to Mohamed
Mohamed is not happy with that. Everything was wrong. It pitched outside leg and he got an inside edge, but the umpire's given him out. He might get a fine for waiting so long before walking off

Wow i am so happy now. I am batting second innnings on a hard and fast pitch so hopefully i can get a good start. And i am a div 5 team agaisnt pakfans div 4 team who is ontop of their ladder.

End of Over 49: 326-10, runrate=6.65
Juries 9-0-66-3
Davies* 4 (4 balls)

4.3 W Hignett to Hansen
Excellent ball screaming into Osmond's hands and out.

Great bowling, he may not be keeping the economy down (9/10 an over ), but hes got a good wicket. If he could get any more...

Thats an absolutely vital wicket, Hansen must be one of the Assassins best batsmen

8.2 W Hignett to Hollis
Hollis gives himself some room to try to play a fine late cut, but he only succeeds in steering a simple catch into the safe gloves of Osmond.

Got another! Well it was inevitable looking at Hollis' previous 2 balls:
7.6 6 Bishop to Hollis
Hollis has stepped across his stumps and spooned it over the keeper's head.
7.5 6 Bishop to Hollis
Huge shot by Hollis and that has damaged the scoreboard!

15.3 W Ifill to Ettienne
Is there a fire? They are running like madmen. Massive confusion and Ettienne is well short of the crease.

Yess, after a period of bowling almost tight enough. Good fielding.

20.1 . Wood to Mahmood
Quick delivery, just outside the off, beats the bat.

Here comes Wood, lets hope he can break this beginning of a partnership.

Akhlagullah* 2 (19 balls)
Alvi 17 (20 balls)

Start from the bottom!!! But 7 wickets in 3 overs to end the game!!! Nice going or what??

43.4 W Dunne to Cooper
It's in the air.....and OUT! Excellent fielding from Banks. He had some ground to make up but he got there in the end and held onto the catch.
43.3 W Dunne to Beckett
He's hit that hard...Wait! It's been gobbled up in the deep! Great Catch!
43.2 . Dunne to Beckett
A big swing, a big miss and no run.
43.1 2 Dunne to Beckett
Glanced to deep third man for a hard run two.

End of Over 43: 257-8, runrate=5.98, reqrunrate=13.29 (349-3)
Hinds 7-0-41-1
Beckett* 5 (2 balls)
Beechers 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Cadette b. Hinds 2 (FOW: 257/8)

42.6 W Hinds to Cadette
Plays defensively, but the ball moves off the pitch and takes off stump out of the ground.
42.5 . Hinds to Cadette
A flowing drive that trickles to cover. This lad needs to work on his timing. No run.
42.4 . Hinds to Cadette
Late cut to a diving backward point, Banks doing very well to stop a certain boundary.
42.3 1 Hinds to Beckett
Steps back and drives for a single.
42.2 4 Hinds to Beckett
Good length delivery on the off stump, moving away from Beckett who lofts it over point. Good shot!
42.1 1 Hinds to Cadette
Clips it off his legs for an easy single.

End of Over 42: 251-7, runrate=5.98, reqrunrate=12.38 (349-3)
Dunne 9-0-64-4
Cadette* 1 (1 balls)
Beckett 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Eagles c. Betsy b. Dunne 0 (FOW: 251/7)

41.6 W Dunne to Eagles
That's gone like a rocket to Betsy who has caught a wonder catch!
41.5 W Dunne to Banga
Banga's struck on the foot just in front of middle stump.
41.4 W Dunne to Gillan
Gillan wants a quick single but he's sent back and Hinds swoops on the ball and throws down the stumps. No need for the third umpire there. Gillan has to go.
41.3 4 Dunne to Gillan
He managed to play that one past extra cover. The sweeper gets a hand to it but the ball still rolls over the rope.
And that's his fifty! Well played.
41.3 nb1 Dunne to Cadette
no ball, On leg, driven away to mid wicket.
41.2 W Dunne to Dobson
Don't blame it on the ball shine, don't blame it on the great flight, don't blame it on the crease line, blame it on the googly! That's out!
41.1 1 Dunne to Gillan
A touch short. Gillan, on the back foot, drives to the sweeper.

End of Over 20: 72-5, runrate=3.60

Sri Krishna, to be precise! And it was really convincing!

Folkes coming back nicely, and Tuckett recorded metrenomical figures of 5-4-1-2!
End of Over 30: 87-9, runrate=2.90
Folkes 10-2-34-2
Matthews* 0 (3 balls)
Marriott 0 (12 balls)

Last Wicket: Akhlagullah c. Gallagher b. Tuckett 25 (FOW: 87/9)
Should wrap this up quickly. Andrews and Crouch to return...

Andrews wraps things up. 88 a/o, 89 to win. Should be a breeze.

41.2 W Dunne to Dobson

Definately the funkiest wicket!!!!

End of Over 8: 39-1, runrate=4.88, reqrunrate=1.19 (88-10)
Haishen 4-0-18-1
Rudi* 13 (22 balls)
Bunn 20 (24 balls)

Last Wicket: Cox lbw b. Haishen 1 (FOW: 7/1)
Decent start, Cox out early was a big blow.

Highlight of the match so far:
7.4 6 Haishen to Rudi
WOW! Charges down the wicket and smacks the ball so hard that it nearly takes the umpire's head off and travels straight to the fence without bouncing! SIX!
So far things have been easy for the 17 YO in his first 3 games ever. Not anymore! Welcome to the league of the big boys
