Beat Viral's team by 140 runs:) After scoring 304/4 the bowlers came out all guns blazing. Masilo picking up 5-30, Alshaun getting 2-17, and Ali getting 3-4. Weirdly there were 23000 people watching the game..

Really disappointed with my batsmen today. My experiment of pushing Fisher up the order from 4 to 3 backfired as he got a first ball duck. I thought I had a real chance after dismissing Blair for not very many, but my batsmen, weren't up to the task. :(

Lebeese didnt last long either:( gone for 6
33.2 W Freeman to Lebese
A slower delivery... and he's out. He played all round that and got a top edge to mid on.
34.3 4 Rajpar to Smith
A juicy full toss outside the off stump. Smith slashes hard and the ball squirts away for four.
Thats the way Smith:)
35.6 4 Freeman to Night
That's just asking to be put away. Should have been a six really.

40 overs up, if these 2 can get 6 and over we can get 220, which should be a good score on this dusty wicket
End of Over 40: 164-6, runrate=4.10
Freeman 10-1-45-1
Night* 21 (35 balls)
Smith 10 (28 balls)

Last Wicket: Lebese c. Saich b. Freeman 6 (FOW: 146/6)
Thats all we need, singles and the odd ball going for 4
40.3 4 Forrester to Night
FOUR, shot! That's just brilliant from Night, rocking back, standing tall and hammering Forrester in front of square for four.

Nice win Zorax, your bowling proved too strong in the end. I think I need to change Mcmahon and Burdett around and have Mcmahon come back in the middle overs instead of Burdett, early stages though with him. I think another 50 odd runs with Mcmahon back in the attack at the end and I might have had a chance, but we will be better next time!

thats it smith...Brings up the 200 :happy
45.5 4 Latif to Smith
Smith executes the paddle sweep perfectly and picks up four behind square.

Good over from Forrester picking up the wicket of Night and only giving away 1 run at this crucial stage
46.3 W Forrester to Night
Must be LBW. Must be LBW! MUST BE LBW! It's carnival time for Forrester

End of Over 47: 203-7, runrate=4.32
Forrester 9-0-43-1
Farley* 1 (2 balls)
Smith 32 (51 balls)

Last Wicket: Night lbw b. Forrester 37 (FOW: 202/7)

come on 220!!!...
48.2 4 Forrester to Farley
There is only a matter of feet between those two fielders, but Farley separated them as though it were miles. A boundary to tell to the grandkids about!
Doesnt look like we are going to get there...Smith running out of partners
48.3 W Forrester to Farley
Farley marched down the wicket and had a wild swing at the ball, missed it by a mile and Alauddin was quick to whip the bails off. Good wicketkeeping.
And there goes halls too, 1 wicket and 4 balls left...
49.2 W Latif to Halls
Caught out by the flipper! He was expecting some turn but it went straight on and trapped him on the back foot. Plumb lbw.
49.3 - Single
49.4 - Single
49.5 - Wicket, all out
49.5 W Latif to De wouw
Plumb in front of middle peg. De wouw has to walk.

End of Over 50: 217-10, runrate=4.34
Latif 9-0-59-3
Smith* 38 (57 balls)
Good batting by Smith, but he ran out of partners. Going to be intersting to see how my guys bowl on this pitch

Looks like i have lost it from here now...
End of Over 43: 213-5, runrate=4.95, reqrunrate=0.71 (217-10)

I beat the Old Wulfs today! A rather remarkable result to say the least, I'm absolutely overjoyed with it but no doubt Freddie Fan will be rather ticked off at the result.

Here are the ratings (yes I know they aren't always the best to go by, but they give a rough guide ) to prove how (lucky?) much of a good result it is for us.

Congrats mate, an excellent result for you. I'm not that dissapointed actually, I won a game I shouldn't have on Friday and lost a game I shouldnt have (if you'll excuse me saying) here. Just the way it goes. I'm interested in seeing Bird's stats if you wouldnt mind?

Good win Brett_Lee

FF i cant believe you lost:O, amazing effort by ur boys Max

Chimpert a few more runs in the end would have helped u

Nah, you really should have won it. I think the total I managed was decent enough considering our bowling is equal. I don't know what happened to your batting or my bowling, but somewhere something worked or didn't. I suppose you could pin it down to some bad batting and lucky bowling. I suppose youre even more desperate for that bowler now.

Jonathon Bird - 17 yo, BT Rating=8,047
LH Batsman, LM Bowler, proficient batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A defensive player with woeful leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: proficient Consistency: competent
Fielding: worthless

I expect him to hit strong in 1-3 weeks from now.

Ah, that explains it then, I didn't spot his age. I was looking at his wage and wondering how a competant took 4-31 against me on a hard and fast.

Seen Ludlam's pop btw? :p
