In the EA and Brian Lara cricket games, the batsmen play the shot 'straight out of the text book', yet most of the time, that isn't what makes cricket exiting.
However, whilst viewing the trailer for this game I noticed that instead of every batsmen trying to play like Graham Napier, with their bat raised above their head when they go for a six, in this game they try and give the ball a right good 'hoik'. This presents a certain realism to the game and I apraise the people at Mindstorm for trying something new, to give the game that extra edge.
