Never was likely to be any new info from Big Ant this week- Australasia has pretty much been shut down for the last 10 days with Easter and Anzac day holidays.

Strategic time outs are just a chance to have an extended advertising break. That's why the ECB have decided they should be part of The Hundred. Having them in the game would be pointless beyond window dressing and quickly become a quick X to skip.

Honestly, it seems like a shameless insertion of more commercialism in the game. There are moments when things are getting really interesting and intense, and then a so called timeout sucks all of that energy out of the game. I personally don't like them at all, no saving grace for me. Wasn't the T20 format introduced to shorten the format? They should get rid of them completely, but having two in a game is utterly nonsense.

The day isn't over yet. Especially if it is going off UK time. With it being a Sunday as well would still match with it being tomorrow instead too. Holding out hope myself. Fingers crossed.

Couple of features I wish @BigAntStudios @MattW @HBK619 add to Cricket 19

At present in career mode, you cannot change a batting/bowling style once created in the 1st player creation screen in career mode...Although you can change the Appearance & equipment of the player any time & as many times...

1. I wish they could allow to change batting/bowling styles similarly to make those long careers fresh & interesting to play by changing styles...They may even think of making the ability to change unlockable with xp to keep it interesting...

2. On a similar note, at present it is not possible to change player type (i.e batsman or bowler or allrounder) any time during the career...I think they should allow that option to be able to change player type, because sometime later during the career when you wish to bowl (occasionally) you do not have the option since you chose Batsman while starting the career...
Similarly, in a pure bowling career, the option to become an allrounder ( which in real life too a player may evolve from a batsman(or bowler) to an allrounder)

This will make the grinding of xp interesting as now we can allot the xp to the non focused aspects of batting/bowling as the case may be...

This will keep the long careers interesting to play with the captain occasionally giving you he chance to bowl...& in case of a bowler he may get a chance to bat up in the order & improve his batting skills by the grinded xp...

If they can allow to change the players appearance (which itself is unreal in reality) anytime during the career & also the equipment(which is highly realistic) then why not the option to unlock Batting/bowling styles and also to evolve from a batsman (or bowler) to an allrounder as he plays & evolves as a player, which is practically very much possible ( and has historically happened with many players) in reality...

I sincerely hope they enable these small features...

Some people cant wait for the game and think it will be amazing and Bigant deserve our blind loyalty, some people think it's odd there no information about the game and we will just be getting a buggy reskin of Ashes and Ross got on an aeroplane to Lords.
