Cricket 2004 on Pc Help

The motherboard should come with the cables you need to connect to the drives- could you post the site you found?

Thanks mate, I was just curious about the prices you get over there :)

Value added tax is 17.5% of the price it goes to the goverment

Bloody hell things are expensive over there- A few minutes browsing and I came up with this:

Samsung SpinPoint P80 SP0802N - Hard drive - 80 GB - internal - 3.5
? 50.25

AMD Athlon XP Processor 2600+
? 68.35

AOpen AK79D-400VN - Mainboard - ATX - nForce2 Ultra 400 - Socket A - LAN EN, Fast EN - IDE
? 48.72

Adtec 184PIN 512MB DDR UDIMM PC2700
? 79.66

Hightech ATI Radeon 9600XT 128Mb Platinum
? 129.95

AOpen DRW 4410 - DVD+RW drive - internal - DVD+RW - 5.25
? 77.21

Jeantech Blue ATX MIDI Tower +300W PSU
? 45.84

If I added right that one's ?499.98- once again though it's overkill for what you need

what you come up with there would that be alright one thing though would it matter by not having an intel processor could i change that if i wanted but overall when i put it all together would it work

This one will handle C2k4 and homework easily and it's about 150 pounds cheaper- this is assuming you don't need a DVD burner and you're not going to play any high-end games on it

AMD Athlon XP Processor 2400+
? 55.12

Samsung SpinPoint P80 SP0802N - Hard drive - 80 GB - internal - 3.5
? 50.25

Nvidia GeForce 4 MX440
? 32.82

AOpen AK79D-400VN - Mainboard - ATX - nForce2 Ultra 400 - Socket A - LAN EN, Fast EN - IDE
? 48.72

Adtec 184PIN 512MB DDR UDIMM PC2700
? 79.66

AOpen Combo Drive 52x32x52/16x, Chameleon Retail Kit (extra silver and black bezel)
? 35.20

Jeantech Blue ATX MIDI Tower +300W PSU
? 45.84

?347.61

I prefer AMD because they'll give good performance for a lot cheaper than the Intel ones but you can change it to a Pentium easily- just get a different processor and an Intel compatible motherboard

It'll work with those parts provided you already have a keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers

Thanks thats pretty cheap but what i am worried about is whether because it is not an intel processor will i still have the windows programs extra thanks

The processor doesn't have anything to do with programs- what do you mean?

Oh i aint very good with computers so would you say that the one for 347 will be good for both c2004 and homework and when i was looking i saw that some things like the processor and motherboard have to be compatible is everything in the one above compatible thanks for your help

Yep

when i was looking i saw that some things like the processor and motherboard have to be compatible is everything in the one above compatible thanks for your help

It all should be fine but if you buy it you should get someone to double check it just to make sure. You'll still have to either buy Windows or get someone with a copy to install it for you

I will make another post asking for anyone who is exceptionally good with computers to double check and see if it should work fine
