Gameplay
I would like HB Studios to spend more time on this aspect of the game than anything else. If, once I buy it, I get the feeling that I am watching a real match on television then I know that the right stuff has finally been achieved. If players have their own skills, like Shane Warne's slider and Michael Vaughan's cover drive, if the opposition hit big shots and take more risks when a match is tight and if a batsman plays shots easier once settling himself in then I will be happy. There must also be a fine line between test matches and ODIs.

Graphics
Doesn't matter but helps. That's what graphics are. The player models in Cricket 2005 were more like Rugby players than cricketers. If we can get a small Sachin Tendulkar with a recognisable face, and Kevin Pietersen with his famous haircut, then that will be a big step forward. The bats need to be longer and bigger too.

Sound
I don't like the sound of hitting a brilliant straight drive in Cricket 2005. Sounds more like a water bomb exploding. I want that lovely sound of perfect connection from microphones around the ground and the stump microphone. I want players to talk to each other, like 'BOWLING GILO!!!' form Geraint Jones and a little bit of sledging from Andre Nel. The crowd have to react in different situations, and the crowds have to be different from country to country, like a big roar in England and a loud screech in Pakistan with lots of whistles. The commentary has to be unscripted, enthusiastic- appealing. Come on HB Studios- let's make the fans happy with Cricket 06!!!

NOW LETS SUM THIS ALL UP

1. No bugs
2. Faster game play and intensity

6. Career mode
7. Pitch report
8. Wear and tear on a pitch as a game wears on.
9. More team management options.
10. More realism between overs, like batsmen talking to each other.
11. Drink break
12. Better camera angles.

24. Real umpires
25. Presentation ceremony after each match.
26. Classic match stipulations like BLIC.
27. CPU should stop u from taking stupid runs based on a stat in the striker.
28. 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s, and 6s in the spider.
29. Wide deliveries must be easy to hit.
30. When bowling the odd delivery must be random and most probably easy to hit.
31. Shots; Front foot;
Straight drive from BLIC
On drive from BLC 98

Flintoff - 80/90+ (hes very consistant)

Aussies

McGrath - 70/83

Khan - 70/88

Bandara - 40/55
Malinga - 70/90
Fernando - 70/87
Maharoof - 70/85
Jayasuriya - 40/60

West Indies

Bradshaw - 72/80
Dillion - 70/85
Collymore - 77/84
Best - 75/93
Fidel Edwards - 70/95
Gayle - 45/60

Another idea is that for margins of over 15mph, a 15mph margin shud b chosen at random to signify changes in rhythm.

E.g. For Fidel Edwards (70/95) it cud be 70/85 or 80/95

40. The swing should be improved and seriously overlooked.
41. Cricket 2005 has the bowlers bowling unbelievably great line and length it must be fixed.
42. With swingers, the ball should be angled when it is bowled.
43. Cutters should GOD FORBID cut.
44. Reverse swing should be as simple as saying it should swing one way but swings the other heavily.
45. GILES SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO BOWL THE DOOSRA.
46. A defence button like BLIC.
47. BATSMAN STATS:
-Running intelligence
-Running speed
-Cross batted shots
-Off side
-Leg side
-Lofted
-Defence
-Pace vision - how fast they see the marker for a pacer
-Spin vision - " " spinner
-Strength in shots
-Edges %

So for a lofted pull shot of a pacer, the cross bat, leg side, lofted, pace vision and strength in shots shud b cross referenced aswell as edges.

Fielding Stats:
-Throwing distance
-Throwing speed
-Throwing accuracy
-Agility
-Speed
-Reflex catching
-High catching
-General Catching - average of reflex and high for simple catches.

Pace Bowling Stats:
-Speed
-Accuracy
-Deception (slower ball)
-Variation (success of special balls)
-Outswing
-Inswing
-Bounce/Skid (slider bar)
-Seam movement

Off Spin stats:
-Speed
-Accuracy
-Quicker ball
-Doosra
-Spin rating
-Bounce/skid.
-Deception

Leg Spin Stats:
-Speed
-Accuracy
-Spin rating
-Bounce/skid
-Googly
-Top spinner
-Flipper
-Slider (0 means no delivery)
-Deception - how fast they see the spin arrow change direction.

47. More distinguishable players. E.g Overweight Inzi.
48. Powerplays
49. Supersubs
50. International Season.
51. More unique asian faces.
52. Many bat spaces for planetricket editing.
53. Braver short leg and silly point.
54. SORT OUT MISFIELDS.
55. Harder to bowl a brilliant line and length. Mayb turbulant areas in the pitch where the marker moves quicker?
56. Duckworth Lewis method.
57. I stole this from the Ea site but a grid in nets like this http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/skills/4177934.stm.
58. Much, much, much quicker bowlers.
59. Fully customisable position of keepers.
60. More ways for a batter to get hit.
61. More crowd atmosphere.
62. A player controlled keeper.
63. Sounds e.g. cars, birds, planes.
64. Good distrabution of kits- e.g. fielders wearing sun-glasses and wide brimmed hats in Sharjah and Batsmen wearing hats to slower bowlers and helmets to quicker ones, opp. for keeprs, with penalty runs if ball hits helmet.
65. PITCH REPORT.
66. Choose umpires.
67. Cheries appearing on a bat or a bat breaking

Well thats all for now.

The players should be highly detailed. They should have different body sizes, hair styles etc. We should be given a choice of equipment sunglasses, cap etc
There should be real bats and there should be some difference between them(weight for example.) The career mode should start of at first-class level from where you move to international level when you have proven yourself. Then you can perform at international level.

Also, if we create Aus,Eng,Saf and Nzl players, there should be option for white skin.
We don't see any in cricket2005. For e.g. I was desperate to create AB Devilliars and couldn't find any white skin for him.

Ive got a feeling that Cricket06 will have the same sorts of features as Cricket 2005.. all they mite add is the new powerplays and super sub rule.

I would never trust something like the Supersub rule with EA :p. Chances are if they did, you'd sub your player, save and exit, come back on and your old players is probably still on :p! I will post a list of what I think it should have soon.

Are you really expecting anything more...... :p . They should probably concentrate on the gameplay and leave apart the licensing thing as it is easily possible to get such stuff as bats/kits in the game later on. If they make a perfect game (not possible in a century) the PC patch makers would lose their jobs... :D :D
