And once again when the AI have a big total to chase the edges keep flying to the boundary . The fielders goes into ****** mode just so that the AI can get runs. Only when they chase big totals . Even short leg will not approach the ball when AI batsmen run singles . I had hours of great gameplay just to face this crap again .

Do you use manual or automatic fielding. I stopped using manual fielding the day after the game came out and don't get any run outs...

Thanks for this. Just started my 5th and final ashes test. The first wicket was a run out haha.

But the other three have been really satisfying. Plus you can play with a coffee!

There's not a new game for this Ashes series in England summer i guess. So we may wait for Australian summer Ashes series in 2025 December. That's so long time.

I'd very much rather see BA try and improve the current game as much as possible instead of working on a completely new game which will come with its own problems but at this point expecting either is grasping at straws I guess. So much wasted potential, it almost makes me sad.

This year 2023 is real cricketing year with majors like WTC final, Ashes series and World Cup (50 over). As a cricket lover I will be disappointed with neither new game nor huge patch update to the current title. But Cricket23 is almost 2 year old.

Latest Insider news, the new Cricket game will include ESPNcricinfo integration to update realtime Player statistics and form. This is in addition to the Global Weather system and the realistic pitch characteristics which are planned to be implemented first time every in a Sports game. BA are very serious this time.

I'm not worried abt the likes for now. I know the people are gonna come back and like it after 40 days. But it's all about social service and the love for the Cricket gaming community.
