Cricket world Cup 2007 Wishlist

not sledging.Atleast manual apeals for lbws,runouts,stumpings,etc
Indian domestic teams.
Cricket 2004 has injury but not during a match.
Players should get injured while the game is going on and can have "byrunners" who run for them.

thats the thing, they dont care, all they need to do is a little improovment and anyone would buy it - they know it too, why spend extra time, they dont listen to the consumer, they know all the things that will come in, but they wont tell them nor will they do half the things because they dont care, all they want is a little improovmewnt so that people like us will buy it, the revealer is correct, if they wanted our opinions they would ask in these forums and release patches for this to happen for the forum's.

bottom line, they dont care they just typical americans wanting more money, sorry EA but thats the truth, i have no sour grapes just an opinion which is supposed to be expressed in these forums

i'll be happy if EA can concentrate on cricket like they do in FIFA.FIFA is ten thousands times better than cricket.how many of u agree with me.

the facial animation in cricket 2004 is comparable to fifa99 .Though using same game engine still rugby series has better graphics. The main problem is now lack of faces (less than 30), and idiots from Easports encypted the files so third party addons are fairly limited. Still in my opinion a great gameplay would anyday towers over graphics and audio.

there should also be a post-match ceremony like MAn of the MAtch, interview with the losing side and winning side. Comments on the next match coming up. After a tour has ended, there should be man of the series, Trophy giving away etc

hi guys

insead of ea giving the contract to studios like HB which has not proven its worth, let it form a member group and do it by itself as it does Fifa. They my word cricket will be close to fifa.

Also the game must be backed up by Sports channels like Star & Espn in India in providing the commentary etc.

that would definitely make the next cricket the best ever.

I would love to have some RPG elements added to players.

For example I create a new player 'Joe Smith', I have some fixed 'x' amount of points to allocate between his skills, concentration etc. Now as I keep playing Joe and garner experiance his various stats slowly change to reflect each of his match performance.

I think it would be a hoot to take McGrath and try to turn him into a batsman like Lara.

Thats a good idea, it's like some of the other EA games. Here's wot I'd like to happen wit your idea:

Just say there is about 20 bars to fill up (15 points per bar). Each bar had a special skill (eg. Accuracy for bowling, Outswing, Attacking etc.) You get 100 points at the start to put where ever you want. Each game you play, if you succeed you either get to add points to where ever you want, or if you fail it randomly takes off 5 points. Once you reach a certain amount of games, no points get taken or get added on. Also it would be cool for it to track your stats

I think they should have classic games as commented but I don't think we can expect the next cricket game to bee too good, you see games like FIFA 2004, Madden 2004, NBA 2004 and NHL 2004 and others but cricket 2004 is 2 or 3 years behind them all so I think were in for a wait when it comes to a fantastic cricket game unless it springs up overnight in the US ;D: ;D:
