Is Strauss bowling chinamans?? Haven't seen those for ages, since Brad Hogg.

If Strauss were Australian he'd probably had been picked, made to bat at 6, and bowl 15 overs a day...

Australia need to play McKay, shore up that batting.

The T20 batsmen would be proud of the batting done by the batsmen, impressive strike rate by both. So finally we are seeing the English being challenged and none of the seamers auditioning for the 3rd seamer spot stood up.

There's a reason for the strike rate.

Code:
AJ Strauss 4 0 51 1 12.75
EJG Morgan 3 0 37 0 12.33

Yeah, who should bowl but never does.

I'd love a dollar for everytime this was mentioned. Dude's rarely ever fit enough to bowl. Keeps stuffing that shoulder of his, or barely being able to walk like last Test.

And England are making a hash of the chase - 4/55 chasing 311. Cook out for a mere 10, oh to bottle that for Perth.

lol I bet people will have a field day, branding this the "return of the England collapse tendency"

As far as I am concerned, this match was to test out the pace bowlers, everyone else was just stretching their legs.

May be Victoria should represent Aus on the 3rd Test.

It's not his first wicket, but that last innings could be the first time Strauss has ever bowled spin in first-class.

Interesting choice to bowl chinaman too. I would've thought finger-spinning would come more naturally. Can anyone comment on whether he might've bowled the occasional fingerspin delivery mixed in?
