Sam , you are a star - been waiting for this for months. At last enjoyable ODI batting with realistic fields :)

This point has just occurred to me. Already I have seen several instances of fielders diving the wrong way when a ball approaches them, and also diving when the ball is nowhere near them. It has been a while since I played the game unpatched so I don't know if the original does this.

If this is to do with the shot having a greater range of trajectories, is this likely to be made worse by having a greater range of fielder positions as well.

I will try and capture a fielder diving out of the way when it next occurs. It is quite funny at first, but causes too many "unwanted" runs.

Could this mean the end of the run out problem as well as a result?? Perhaps the time is coming to trade in the PS2 version!! Great work Sam.

Superb news Sam. Looks like another of the major faults with c2k4 could be a thing of the past...

i hope this is the case. I have tried every field setting under the sun for all types of bowler and nothing will stop the run out bug if you play a defensive field! Cant really see how this will help but hey its better than nowt
