England Vs Zimbabwe 1st ODI​

England Collapse ​

England have struggled all day today. Their lack of training with MacWorld and in general has lead England down the table. They are now ranked 8th and could move down to ninth if they lose this series. MacWorld needs to do some miricles if he is to turn this England team around. I think we can safely say that England will not make it to number 1 any time soon.

England need to bat safely if they are to get anywhere near the target set by Zimbabwe. Chigumbura has been bowling great today and is about to bowl to Prior. Chigumbara runs in and bowls a slightly quicker delivery taking the outer edge of Priors bat leaving the ball floating through the air and landing safely in Mupariwa's Hands. The Zimbabwe team are going wild. Can they finally move from no9 to 8 in the table.

England looking shaky now and they are about to collapse. Zimbabwe prove this by dismissing Collingwood and sidebottom straight away. England move onto 174/8 and are definatly not going to win this match now.

England are definatly out of this game and lose the match. Zimbabwe bowled and batted really well today to dismiss the England and go 1-0 up in the ODI Series. Zimbabwe are currently ranked 9th but look to be moving up to no8 and replacing England. England really need to come back and win this series now.

Zimbabwe has been shocking audiences around the world this year by winning the series against Sri Lanka and thrashing England in the test series. It looks like they will do the same after yesterday?s performance at Edgbaston. The ECB very recently sacked Peter Moore the now former England coach. He was replaced by MacWorld one day before the ODI series against Zimbabwe. England and its new coach did not have time to acquaint and were thrown into the series unprepared. England are currently ranked 8th and moved down from 5th within 6 months.

MacWorld moved the team to London after the game finished and got to know the team a bit better. MacWorld was a Former International umpire and was training the New England team very hard. At the Oval MacWorld put the players into a net session and named Andrew Strauss as the New England Captain and Pieterson as vice captain. The better players were training even harder and MacWorld was determined to win this series and rescue England.

After the net session the England Players relaxed and MacWorld was interviewed about his new job, let?s take a look at some of the questions and responses:

Q: Are you making any changes for the England team?

Yes, England are now training harder and soon will be a good team. I am planning to revise the bowling department and batting department as we need new young players. We need to improve in both these areas considerably if we are to improve. I have also announced Andrew Strauss as the new ODI captain and Pieterson as vice captain.

Q: what can you bring to the team?

I have a lot of experience and hope to pass it onto the team. As a former umpire I know the rules and how players play in a game. I can tell them about this and hopefully they will learn a lot. I am also helping in the bowling department as it is one of my specialities.
