Do you think India's National sport should be changed from hockey to Cricket?

Cricket is more popular in India than hockey so my question is do you belive India's national sport should be changed to cricket?

I belive yes because:

1.In India all cricketers are treated as gods.
2.Every boy in India wants to be a professional in some job or.......... the next Sachin.
3.During every cricket game Indians sing a song from the film ''Chak de India'' only problem is that ......... it's a film about hockey.
4.People in India are suicidal about cricket and surveys show that 1000 or above people commited suicide when were knocked out of the World Cup.

I dont agree,just because it has got more glamour (due to ICL/IPL),more money in game,we should not change our National game,yes Cricket has got immense popularity here in India but that does not mean we should change our National game...
