They have the license otherwise they wouldn't be in RLL3.

The speculative answer is: the license only covers RLL3

Or (more likely) the licence was obtained for RLL3 and is obviously not retro-active for past games but would presumably cover future titles. Be odd for the MCG to only want to be associated with a league title...

Almost always licenses are granted on a per-product basis - even sequels usually require re-negotiating the license (although this is usually pretty easy as everything is in place from the previous game). That includes stadiums, tournaments, players/kits, commentators... Everything.

If only the venue licenses were available...

It does look very pretty indeed. I'm not crazy about the bobbing camera, but it does make it feel much more TV-like in it's presentation - I think the opening sequence getting onto the pitch looks terrific.

I suppose presentation is not particularly great but the attention to detail on the stadium and the graphics is just wow. Hopefully the next DBC will deliver us a real MCG that looks like that.

Am I the only one who thinks their stadiums look better than FIFA

...wait we need a controller to play?

Not for "Cricket Next" you don't... the tribe has spoken, keyboard only.

Ok here's the thing, the MCG is in RLL3 as well as probably other cricket grounds, so what's stopping Big Ant from importing them to dbc

We've had all major Australian stadia in each of our sports games except DBC - licenses.

Why getting licenses of the same stadiums for cricket games is a issue? Just a query!
