from theitwares.com. Received it this morning.
I dint put a preference in but yet they sent me a Black one :cheers

The white controller i used to have looked dirty after first few months. This one will rock.

I tried NFS Shift 2. The Handling is not what i expect it from a NFS game. ITs pretty stiff. Maybe i'll get used to it.

Anyone know how to limit the size of image :facepalm

There you go - a relatively new game running beautifully on 'our' three year old machine - more proof that you don't have to upgrade every six months. :)

Yeah that myth is totally baseless. You don't have to play every game with all the settings maxed out. And most of the PC games looks way better than Console games even on medium settings. ;)
In last three years only games PC have struggled to run on maxed out settings are:
Crysis( Crysis 2 runs fine:eek:)
Far Cry 2 (Which was shite anyway)

That's the biggest Xbox pad I've ever seen. :D

Seriously though - one way to take care of huge images is to put them in ['SPOILER][/SPOILER'] tags - that way if anyone wants to see it, they click on it. :)

I wish they'd do a black wired Xbox 360 pad - the white one looks nice but as you said, it gets dirty too quickly.

New article about F1 2011:

Edit: Spoiler method doesn't work - it just provides you with a huge white space instead of the piccy. :facepalm

Most of the forums automatically resize the huge images. I posted this on another forum (Indianvideogamer) and it was resized to 31% to fit the screen.

I dont know why but I'm enjoying F1 2010 more than my new Shift 2:facepalm.
Maybe i need to unlock some better cars to see if handling improves or not.

Hey Steve, They have done black pad for 360. Its on amazon for 30$ Amazon.com: Xbox 360 Wired Controller - Black: Video Games

Thanks for the heads-up. :)

Strange I've never seen it before! It's also at amazon.co.uk. :) Well, that's my next controller - after all, everything else here is black: wheel, keyboard, mouse, PC, monitor, speakers - all black. :D

It's exactly the same official one as the white pad, isn't it? Yet the white pad is ?34 at amazon.

Who cares about comparisons between F1 2011 and F1 2010? This is a comparison between F1 2011 and real life! ;)

When you look at it that way, it doesn't come off too badly, does it?

Fling you Steve :p Now i gotta buy a Wheel too :facepalm

:D

You can drive it with the gamepad, I've heard they're going to work on the controls so that a guy on a gamepad can compete with a guy on a wheel, but I would strongly recommend getting a wheel if you intend to spend a lot of time on the game, or any other racer; it completely transforms the experience.

Get yourself a Driving Force GT, or a Ferrari F430 USB FF (that's my wheel) - they're both very good wheels and won't break the bank. :) Personally, I'm glad I went for the Ferrari wheel - it has metal pedals, which sounds a lot more solid than the DFGT's plastic ones.

New interview:

There's an added bonus at around 23:30 - you can hear the proper engine sound from F1 2011 - and to me it sound significantly better even than the sound in the dev diary. :D
