Thats a No from me. I bought the fifa game for the last world cup, once I'd won the world cup once I lost all interest in it as there is little else to do ;)

But i think it will be far far better than FIFA 2002 World Cup game.

Sure the graphics will be better and the gameplay will have been improved, but its the format of the game, its limited to the world cup. Its like a normal football game but with all the extras missing and the words "World Cup" added to it to make some extra cash, stick with the standard fifa games (other football games are available) they offer far better value for money.

I think the system requirements will be the same as those for FIFA 06.

Definitely not. I am not shelling extra just for the words "world cup" (and all other modes stripped off) as Kev said.

I think the better idea would be to release both FIFA 06 and FIFA 2006 World Cup in a single edition instead of separate titles.

EA would never do that,as they know that a lot more people watch the World Cup so there will always be buyer's for the game if its released seperately.

This game isn't going to have anywhere near the amount of features and teams as the FIFA 2006 game. I don't see any point in me buying it. Once you've been hailed champions of the world cup, there's nothing much else you can do.

Interesting choices there Ilovegilly. I myself have FIFA '99, FIFA 2000, FIFA 2000, FIFA 2005 and FIFA 2006. I must they that each year they have improved dramatically. (except for the World Cup editions)
FIFA 2006 has improved graphically, however it is flawed with a plethora of errors and wishwash. If EA Sports had waited about 6 months it would've been better on their morale. However, that said - FIFA 2006 really emulates the World Cup well. Probably unprecedented in its field. EA have every license they can pinch at.
