yh but it wont be fun to play that way... take fifa for example the passes seem to take a year

Have you even watched a game of Football(soccer) and then Played a game of fifa? Its hell realistic and then you play PES after you played fifa the graphics are PS2. Not only but the speed of the game is really like an arcade game like you never feel like you can relax like you do on Fifa. I think your more of a Cricket fan then a football fan you would know that if you watched Football. Yes Fifa's not perfect but a much better reflection of what football is about, not ice hockey.

Dude i was exactly the same when i ought FIFA08 on Xbox360, just keep playing it for a while and little bugs will start to **** you off....

mate i think i watch enough and play enough football to tell how the game is played and i am sorry... fifa main skill in football dribblin to take ball forward is like shootin yourself because no matter if your ronaldinho or some shite league 1 player you have to take the same route, you cant just dance your way through like ronaldinho would... passing is pathetic, simple pass to a player 2 m infront of you wont make it coz guess what always intercepted by the CPU and the turning of the players is as slow as 100 year old man ... so PES hands DOWN

You have to get used to FIFA and you can't take the same routes. Although I enjoy PES more I'm not happy with the fact I've had over eight 7 goal plus wins.
Plus in PES its so easy to score just slide it through the defence and slot it past the keep there you go, almost all my goals are like that.

Well i played 3 whole seasons before getting sick of the bugs and traded it in for PES.
A big thing which ticked me off with FIFA was the defence never made any errors, they were always in perfect alinement which ruled out the chance of a 1v1 against the keeper. And whenever they clearled the ball 95% of the time it would go to their team mate.
FIFA feels like your playing a computer, where as PES in my opinion flows so much more smoothly and you have total control over what you do.

The fact that i bought Fifa this year on 360 when it came out, i actually thought they done a wonderful job this time around and i played about 6 seasons on it, dont get me wrong i am not saying is totally crap this game... they have improved massively from last years but still PES gives me soo much more freedom and enjoyment

I played on World Class. Sadly the harder you set the difficulty the more the computer cheats...

Who were you? You really have to know a lot about the team and how they play to get the most out of this game. Unless you're using Barca. Ronaldinho, goal.
I use Newcastle online pretty much all the time and I have to play like a Newcastle team would play. Defend deep and build up slowly before a chance comes. Giving the ball to Martins to peg it down the wing helps too.

I was Leeds United. One thing i enjoyed was building a new team that could actually compete, down side is that player development sucks!!
If you read back when i first bought it i thought it was fantastic, then you start to see things such as bugs and the programmers inability to create realistic situations during the match, and then it starts getting boring! The same thing over and over again, scoring goals becomes the same!
Anyway i look forward to the coming years in FIFA, they are on the right track but still have a long way to go! PES on the other hand have done a terrible upgrade over last years version. Still, its a decent game and it still is PES so the gameplay rocks! Anyway, Konami have promised a whole new next gen engine for next years version so it should be interesting!!!

ATM Still PES > FIFA.... but i hope fifa catch up soon coz i would love to play fifa with an absolute gameplay... would be a complete footy game
