Europe - You have the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland etc all in short distance. Why would you pick the USA over that sort of flexibility?

Labor - I think ive talked about this. If you had have asked me 40 years ago I would have been liberal as the libs were free marketeers, low trade barriers and labor were protectionist, but the libs also never used to overly intervene with social progress.
Today, the Liberal party social policy is a large part of their platform and the Labor party have come in to a nicely balanced free trade belief.

And for others reading - Australia is weird as our Centre-right party is the Liberals, the center-left is Labor

Turnbull. If they did a 'Let Turnbull be Turnbull' thing he could be coronated as King. Hes too constrained by the far right of the party and has been rendered useless and his leadership weakened.
Abbott shouldnt be sitting in parliament

So he's a moderate? Interesting.

Back in the late 00's the running joke was that the labor PM, Kevin Rudd and Turnbull could create their own party they were so similar ideologically.

Turnbull ran the Pro republic campaign when we had the rigged referendum on it in 99, is pro marriage equality (sad it's such an issue) etc.

I sleep on 4 hours a day and maybe one a fortnight have a solid 10hr recharge (which I did last night!)

Well, I don't log off so reasonable chance between my PC and Mobile I may be logged on but inactive, especially with my PC that refreshes.

Who knows :p

Well the easy answer is that I'm on the 'stay' side. I think the vote to brexit, along with the rise of Trump and similar are linked to a societal disconnect with government, but that's a whole other story.

Do you like playing chess - reckon you could beat me?.
I know how to play in as much I can tell you how the pieces move. I'm not good at strategizing 10move ahead etc so in that respect im quite an easy player to beat.

I think me finding it strange a fair enough statement. Even if you find it comforting or meaningful, the idea is still strange :)

During uni I worked there so was entitled to be there, I made sure all doors were locked etc. I'm not sure it was illegal, or if it was it would have been a slap on the wrist. Although if sure the media would have loved the story..

What do your legs say after standing a full 100 overs?

I take it seriously enough that I have rotines for these things. At both ends I have this 'switch up and switch down' routine that means between every ball I'm taking a few steps, looking over at partner or whatever.

Now, not to imply I'm not concentrating, but when the ball is being g returned from the keeper to the bowler requires a whole lot less concentration than when the bowler is in their delivery stride.

Plus, a trick I learnt from a documentary on the queen's guard, is to wiggle your toes and that helps with blood flow and preventing cramps.

Plus I'll warm up before a game, stretch during breaks, eat right and take steps to help these things. So all in all thats not a huge factor to me anymore (and I'm in no way the best or fittest out there)

Lol to be fair that was the standard sort of thing to do :)

Most of my games are on consecutive Saturdays, if I do a Sunday game it's usually not a long one so a glass of wine with dinner or a drink with players after the match is ok, nothing more than that tho and defiantly nothing that even comes close to affecting me the following day...
