GCSE Results Day

For anyone who did History, did you get your CW results back? Because, my class didn't.

got good results without any effort, doing the 4 lessons i want to at AS level in the 6th form i wanted to go to

got 2As, 6bs 2 Cs and a D, i made a conscious decision not to work hard, and to do enough, i did that, capable of far better results, but it doesnt really matter

We have to do RS Short Course in Year 10. I got my results last week, I got an A*.:)

I didn't really work last year, and I will manage but if i had worked harder last year and got straight A's, I could have relaxed, so yeah work the final 2 years people

I didn't work for either of the years \o/
And I passed everything C's and above.
It's good to look back at realise what you can achieve without trying though, it's good motivation, Cos for my A-Levels I can see that I got A's in my chosen subjects without trying, so If I try then I should be fiiine.

I didn't get a single 'A' grade for anything I did in Year 10 last year. I put it down to a mixture of my half-heartedness and my general struggle with schoolwork.

I need to have a better year this time around and it all starts at 1.15pm on Tuesday!

1:15?! What's the point in that?!

8:45 on Monday. Looking forward to college and chasing skirt.

I start 6th Form on The 10th. In 3 days a week for 3 lessons a day, leaving me two days to work during the week as well as Sundays; £150 quid a week here I come.

The point of that is to let the first years find their way around the school, have a break, have some lessons, have some lunch and get a feel for the place without the people who know where they are going to worry them.

This new year will be the first time ever my school accepts Year 7. Before that you started the school at Year 8, like I did. So I have two brand new year groups coming up so it's going to be packed in the corridors.

Yeah at least your not a prefect who has to show them around and have to constantly be there. God I hate the job now. At least it goes on the CV

Actually, I am Deputy Head Boy! I had to help the head of communities show the first years around at the end of last year and help the parents at two induction evenings.
