Graphics and Bowling Help

When I looked at a screenshot on the cricket 2004 screenshot thread the graphics are excellent! But when I play the game on my pc it is crap! I have tried configuring cricket 2004 and everything! I also changed my resolution to see if that helped but it didn't! Can anyone help me? This game is slow too! My OS is Windows ME.I have an nvidia graphics card.I have directX 8,I will download DirectX 9.0b today to see if that enhances the crappy graphics!

I looked at which DirectX I have and it says that I have 9.0b already! Do I have to update it? Please help! I payed ?39.99 pounds and this game is a rip-off! HELP ME!

You can't update past that version of DirectX. Like I say get the latest drivers for your graphics card.

np mate....go to www.nvidia.com and u can download the correct driver for ur card...simple!

and if you have windows xp then go to windows update and see if they have released a new driver for nvidia that is meant for winXP.....i had done that for 1 game and didnt need to update the driver from nvidia.com

I dont get why ppl have to panic instead of doing a search for stuff. Always do a search before coming here. It takes a minute or 2. And by search i mean go to google or something. Also, the issue of drivers has been adressed at least more than 10 times on this forum.

B) i would recomend downloading the drivers from nvidia site .

the microsoft site doesnt give all the plugins.
plus if u have hardtime finding the drivers on nvidia site try serching google.
and also put here which model is ur grafix card
